The email depends on the user’s capability; moderated vs. unmoderated. Unmoderated submissions, an email will not be sent.

It’ll add a new Text Changes menu item. Click Add New, enter the string exactly as shown in Connections, enter connections as the domain and then enter your new text.

The great thing about using this plugin is that it will be update safe and you can use it on any other plugin that has been properly internationalized. Hope that helps.

Take a look at this FAQ, especially the section on the code and pre tags. That should fix you up. If it does not, please let me know.

Ok, I do see them in the page source, but they are being loaded before jquery.js. At the very least jquery.gomap-1.3.2.min.js has be loaded after it. Another item I see, is the in the Chrome Console error log, it is being reported that jQuery isn’t defined on line 1. Honestly, that doesn’t make sense, but that could cause javascript issues.

As to why these two scripts are not being enqueued, my best guess is that is because they are enqueued mid page to be included in the site’s footer only on the page where its needed and something is building the page footer before the scripts are enqueued. So maybe the better solution would be just to force those scripts to be loaded in the page header. The plus side will be that all page cache / pagespeed_mod / cloudflare stuff you have going on will handle the loading. The downside would be, those scripts would be loaded on every page. If you like to give it a try, remove the two scripts you added, give me a temp admin account and I’ll edit the plugin so they are enqueued in the header. The only item that still might be an issue is that jQuery not being defined error… Let me know.

I did try a few test entries last night … you can use the IE dev tools to override the meta tag. It worked fine for me. I just tried again in IE8, that’s what I have available to me at the moment and it worked too.

Perhaps you still being served a cached page? Try force refreshing the browser.

It sounds as if the second user may have logged in while Link was activate but “their” entry email address and user email address didn’t match. The links are pretty tough to break, even when you want too.

You’ll have to delete both the entry and the user. Re-add the entry, then the user. Finally have the user logout and back in. The link should happen and be more or less permanent.

I am considering releasing an update which loosens this up a bit because when users run into this, it is hard to fix. However, in practice, it only ever happens when in testing and I think that is because the impression is that changing email addresses in one or the other will cause a link when that isn’t the case after the initial attempt to link accounts.
