Changing entry status based on user role is an interesting idea. Certainly one I hadn’t even considered. I’ve attached a code snippet which you can tweak to suit your needs.
Why bridge/connector extensions?
Thru supporting many users, I found it is very common to find that they are already using a membership plugin. By integrating with the popular membership plugins (the ones that have an API) I can provide them with a seamless experience using what they already have setup. Having their users have to do multiple purchases would likely be very bad for conversions.
I will be doing my own at some point, but this is very complex because you have to deal with new submissions, renewals, expiration, upgrades, downgrades, featured, feature within category, limiting number of category (packages), email notices, multiple payment gateways and so on…

Go to the Connections : Settings admin page and uncheck the Name link option under the Advanced tab.
That should do it.

Which template are you using? What you see might be exactly what should happen. Can you share a link to your directory page please?

No, the new CSV will import all as new entries in Connections it will not affect previously imported entries.
Hope that helps.

Sorry, no, not with the current version of Form. Frontend editing when Link is installed and active will be a feature in the next release.
You can turn off the RTE in Form by adding
rte=falseto the shortcode. However, this will effect both the bio and notes fields. The metaboxes on the ‘Edit Your Directory Entry’ admin page has some configuration options using the Screen Options tab in the upper right corner. However, this is a per user setting, not global.
To remove the Dates metabox import and activate the attached snippet.
Install the Code Snippets plugin.
Download and unzip the file attached to this reply.
Import the code snippet XML file, search.code-snippets.xml, into Code Snippets. See the FAQs on where to find the import feature.
Activate the newly imported snippet.I also attached a snippet which removes the individual and family entry types as options. Although, I think that might cause an error when saving because the default type is individual which can only be changed here.

For the version of the cMap that you’re using, that is correct behavior … I’m pretty certain the permalink support for Connections did not exist when that version of cMap was released.
The solution is to update cMap to version 3.1. You can download the update from your Purchase History. Version 3.1 as a single entry view that is displayed instead of the list view.
Hope that helps!

I logged in and the db seems perfect. I corrected the category counts. But I see there are 512 entries assigned to Companies and 1616 entries assigned to Properties for a total of 2128 entries.
I’d be willing to import the remaining CSV files for you so I can figure out why they are not importing for you.

Sorry, but there is no way that I am aware of to integrate the two searches.

Yes, I do plan on creating extensions so that there are monetization opportunities. When? I can not begin to say with any accuracy that you could plan on. I shooting for this year. My first stab will be a integration plugin, a “bridge” between Connections and Restrict Content Pro. If that goes well, I’ll move to integrate with other member plugins.

Tale a look at this doc page. Example 1 shows how to turn on the image and logo upload fields.
Hope that helps.
