    @ Chris

You can do that by splitting up the categories base on the root parent. Take a look at this FAQ. This will work with any of the templates which support the searchable category drop down.

    I hope that helps!

Oh,forgot to add… saving an entry will auto-geocode addresses. You can also drop and drag the pin on the map to fine tune the geocode.

I see, you’re setup is a bit more complex than most…

re: How does the geocode work?
When you click that, a little map should show up under the address with pin showing the address on the map and the lat/long should auto populate. If you’re not seeing that, then the theme or another plugin is not limiting its javascript to its own admin page and causing a fatal error which is causing javascript to crash. You can identify the error by opening the page in Chrome, hit the F12 key, click the Console tab and then enter an address and click the Geocode button. Any errors that occur will be listed in the Console. If you mouse hover over the filename on the right, it’ll show the file path. Read the path. Most often that’ll be the clue to identify if it a plugin and which one or the theme.

Yes, deactivate, delete and install the new version is how you update. WordPress actually doesn’t have a manual way to upgrade a plugin or theme.

I see, the license key, you will not have one, sorry about the goose chase. You will actually be able to manually update for as long as you wish. The only way to enable the in-admin updates is if I generate a license key for you and if I do that, the license key have to be renewed annually for continued updates, even manually. I can do that if you wish, just let me know.

Please do not reply to the auto-responders, I do not always receive them… Please reply back in the forum, thanks!

The only time way I can get the image to disappear like in your screenshot is if I configure the browser to emulate IE7 using the developer tools. Did you perhaps enable this emulation? If you did, that is supposed to be testing purposes only. To turn it off, hit the F12 key, click the Emulation tab (the icon w/ the monitor/tablet) and change the Document Mode to Edge.

The Visual editor tab will get fixed when I release the bug fix. I didn’t get a chance to release it this weekend … I will release it as soon as I can.

Sorry, I misspoke, cMap 3.1 and newer is what is required for the shortcode options… The current version of cMap is 4.0, I highly recommend updating it. The download can be found on your purchase history page.

My instructions were based on 4.0, which is why the difference, likely.

After you update, I also suggest adding your license key to the Connections : Settings admin page under the Licenses tab so you will be notified in the admin when I release updates, one of the new features in cMap 4.0.

re: Won’t adding the custom CSS into it be the same essentially as the Quick Tip info?
Sort of. If you change the theme, you’ll lose the custom CSS setting. You’ll retain the custom CSS using the instructions in the QuickTip.

I’ve identified the issue with the visual editor and I will push out an update this weekend to fix.

As for the other items, I visited the site in Chrome 34, Firefox 29.0.1 and IE 11. Everything seems fine for me. Try visiting you site in a private browsing window. If the issue resolves, force refresh your browser caches.

re: So if I change the text Home to Preferred how would that work without changing it site wide?
No, only within Connections. That is why you need to add the Domain. I assume Home as in the address, yes? Original string is Home, Domain is connections and Replacement string is Preferred … just like in the QuickTip.

re: And see the screenshot as per no email :-)
You previously stated you haven’t tested while logged out … please logout. Email notifications are only sent when logged out or if the user that is logged in and adding the entry does not have permission to add an entry. You have permission to add an entry while logged in, so no email, because, well, you know you added the entry. It doesn’t make sense to send you an email about something you know you did, right? :)

I released it yesterday late afternoon. Documentation and such will not really be updated until the beginning of next week. I’ve only got as far as pulling down the old documentation that doesn’t apply.
