    If this is displayed without user login, it will allow anyone to submit a directory entry (required moderation). Is that is what is desired? If it is, then you can use the [connections_form] shortcode on any page which is not password protected.

    Please note, if you opt to do so that this method (shortcode) is a legacy feature no longer supported. I have no plans to ever remove it but it may not continue to function properly forever.

    If you are using Form to allow the user to make edits, this feature already exists. It is found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Form tab at the very bottom.

    Ok, so the email failing is the one being sent to the admin to notify the admin a birthday email was sent, correct?

    The From address does not have a setting (in Connections or this addon). The address is pulled from the email address entered on the WP General Settings admin page.

    If the address shown in the log does not match the email address found on the WP General Settings admin page then there must be another plugin installed which is overriding the address in that setting.

    I hard trouble finding the string the other day… the screenshot helped a lot!

    That string exists in the Link extension. Edit the POT file for Link to translate. If you can send me the completed translation, I can make sure it is distributed in updates.

    The text content field, in nearly all cases for Connections string, should be left blank. Here’s the settings you should use:

    • Original string: Custom Fields
    • Text domain: connections
    • Text context: blank
    • New string: The string you want
