Connections does not accept payments for listings. I do not plan on adding such features. I recommend you use a membership plugin like Restrict Content Pro to manage membership payments and renewals. This greatly increases your ability to monetize your site where a directory is just one benefit of the user’s membership.
There are other directory plugins which do integrate payments, but then you lock yourself into only being able to monetize your directory making it very difficult to expand member benefits and further increase your opportunity to monetize.
Hope this helps!

I just tested the last CSV file you had attached. All images were imported for me without issue. My first suggestion is to review the entries after they have been imported by clicking the edit link for each, one at a time. Check the logo and photo fields to verify the image was imported.
The 2nd row in your CSV only has the photo URL and not a logo URL like the other two. So, depending on what you have the admin set to show (via the Screen Options), you might only being seeing the logo on the Manage page. And since the second CSV row individual has no logo, there would be logo shown on the Manage admin page. So, it is important to review while editing the entry so you can see both images. Alternatively, you could toggle the display of the logo/photo on the Manage admin page in the screen options.
Hope this helps!

When I copy the URL for the image and paste into a browser, the server response is, 404 Not Found. So, I suspect when the import is occurring, it can not fetch the image because it can not be found.
The CSV Import uses standard core WP media functions to fetch the image, for those to function, the image must be accessible. Either the images are not in the path the URL says they are supposed to be or they are server retractions in place that prevent access to the folder. That’s where I would start looking.
Hope this helps!

If you want Tile Plus instead, we can process an exchange. I would recommend sticking with cMap though.

RE: What do you think the best way to import the images ?
You’ll have to update the site which is running the old version of Connections, then do the CSV Export. The resulting file will have the logo and photo image URL which can be imported into the new site.
RE: I’ve attached a sample CSV of only 5 records which I have been using to test import only 5 records for now.
Ok, the file looks fine. I imported on my dev site and it imported with the bio.

I know it has been a long while. Regardless I wanted to follow up to let you know that version 2.2 of Excerpt Plus has been released with map support. Part of the delay was in developing a decent map api for use in Connections.

KeymasterPlease make sure your file is save UTF8 encoded before you import.
Here’s a link which explains the details:

RE: Still couldn’t figure out how to export the images from version 8.1.5.
Because you can’t. I am sorry if my last reply was not clear! It was not until version 8.6.12 that is was possible to export the photo and logo image URLs.
RE: The biography header exist in the CSV, but when we add some text to it, it doesn’t seem to import any of the data.
The CSV file could still not be valid, per the requirements.
Please attach it, as a private reply, and I’ll take a look.

Sorry, no, Form does not have such a feature. YOu could moderate the submissions and if you feel a users has added to much you can edit the entry before approving it for display.
