Yes, those would be the two files to change for the admin they are only listed as inactive because WordPress only knows about the file that actually loads the plugin into WordPress … it’s a WordPress thing, not a Connections bug.
re: In the future will it be easier to hide certain field on both the admin side and public side?
Form is intended for a plugin and play solution, so I doubt I’ll be transforming it to a “form builder” type of plugin. With that said, I do have a few plans to provide a solution for advanced users/developers in the future.Hope that helps!

No this is not a know issue… almost sounds as it the script that controls the effect is being loaded twice. You’ll need to share a link to the page having the issue so I can see what the issue might be and offer a solution.

Sorry, that does appear to be a bug, a one character typo in two spots. The field sets can also be enabled/disabled on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Form tab which is actually the preferred method. The shortcode options are primarily available for legacy support for users of older version of Form. The shortcode options were they only way to control them before. Regardless, I’ll release a bug fix next week which will fix this and make a few minor CSS tweaks.
Apologies for the trouble!

Support and in-admin updates are linked to a single WP install, however, that does not limit the number of site in which they extensions can be installed. For development, you can have them on that domain, just do not active the support license key on the development site, only the live site and they will be no trouble. I hope that helps!

In short, yes to your questions. You’ll need both the Form and Link extensions for Connections to accomplish this. Link, for link a specific registered WP user to a Connections entry. This allows them to edit their entry in the admin. Form, will enable frontend editing for both the admin and the “linked” user if Link is installed and activated. Hope that answers your question thoroughly!

SiteShots uses a third party, WordPress.org, service in order to create the screen captures of websites. The screenshots are cached generally for a 24 hour period before being refreshed. Unfortunately there is no way to force refresh a screen capture, you just have to wait until it expires and is recreated.
I hope that helps!

That’s all it should take… by change are the entries which do not have links, are they the “Organization” entry type? If they are, you also need to enable the “Name” link option because for organization entry type the org name is the name, not the organization. The Organization option for links is for the Individual entry type who had an org added to their details.
I hope that helps!

Ok, I understand now but unfortunately that function will list all categories associated to an entry. There is no option to include/exclude specific categories to be listed. I’ll add this to my feature request tracker.
If I have not asked and if you have a moment, I would truly appreciate a review as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!
