Ok, I see. Yes I do seem to have that hard coded. I believe I did this because the PHP date format codes do not work with the jQuery Datepicker date format codes. I do have to come up with a way to address this so it is no longer US centric. I’ve logged this as a bug which will get fixed.

Right, there actually is not an email sent when an entry has been approved. This feature is on the to do list. … We are talking about Form, right? I ask because this is posted in the Link forum. Only Form will send emails, Link does not.

re: Afterwards, any subsequent “edit my directory” results in a dialog message that indicates the user is “not authorized to edit”, however, the edit actually DOES get posted to the management queue and will be published upon approval.
CAn you post a screenshot of the “Edit My Directory” link … so I can orient myself. Also please post a screenshot of the error message. I need the exact message so I can track down where exactly it is being triggered.

Go to the Connections : Roles admin page, rest All roles and capabilities and reapply them. There are plugins that mismanage them and break them for other plugins. S2Member is one such plugin. resetting usually always fixes it. May it will for you too.

No you would have three columns with all 304 of your categories in the Categories column. So you CSV file would look something like this:

First Name, Last Name, Categories
Jane, Doe, “cat 1, cat 2, cat 3, so on, and so on”

I believe there is a command in Excel that you can use to convert the column to a row and then you should be able to merge the row contents.

Is your site being run on nginx or IIS? Or maybe some sort of caching Varnish, Cloudflare or something? It could be one of those are not passing the query vars back like they should. Did you try resaving the permalinks?

The Say What? plugin would be exactly how to do it. Did you follow the steps in the QuickTip exactly? The two most common errors spelling and capitalization. After you’ve double checked and its still not working for you, please post a screenshot of the text you want to change and the settings in Say What?

Just about all options are either true/false or strings. The only options that have “variables” would be probably image and tray_image. The variables would be none, logo and photo.

I think, if I understand, you could use a filter to filter by the city name. Will that work for you?

My first guess is that you’re using an older version of Link. Can you first try updating Link to the latest version?

If that doesn’t fix it and since “it started recently” that hints to the possibility of a new plugin that was installed or a plugin update that is breaking the hook in WordPress Link hooks into to properly function. Which plugins have you installed or updated recently, try deactivating them to see if the error goes away.

Yes, just use the [connections] shortcode with no options set. It’ll just output all entries ordered by last name.

Yep, the theme (most likely) is adding <br> tags to the HTML output by Connections. See this FAQ for details. Try the suggestion in the yellow tinted box first.
