Looks like it working fine… it is the data that’s the issue… I’ll try to explain…

Many of the entries seems to have two addresses, the latter of the two containing only the state while the first has not state.

First, when you have multiple address per entry, things can appear to be really weird because which of the two addresses should be used when doing the ordering … it pretty random but more often of not, it be the second.

The second address contains only the state and an empty city. The “empties” will become before the “none-empties” when sorting ASC.

Now, not all the entries have two address… the second page on this page on your site:

They all have a single address with both the state and city filling in, you’ll notice that they are being ordered as expected.

That said, the solution is to edit the other entries so you have a single address that contain at least a city and state.

Yes Link is sort of like a claim listing feature but I’m going to stop short to say it that it is and recommend that if you need that specific feature then maybe Connections is not the right solution for you right now. Sorry.

I see you’re using the shortcode multiple times on the same page. You can do that but will require some extra setup.

First, to remove the search and disable pagination, you can use this shortcode:

[connections enable_search='FALSE' enable_pagination='FALSE']

All the shortcode options that Tile Plus enable can be found on the doc page for it. As you see there are a lot of option you can use.

Now, since the shortcode is used on the same page multiple time, when you click an entry’s name you will results for each instance the shortcode exists on the page. That is why you see multiple “No results.”

To solve this you need to create a separate “results” page, let call it “Person”.

• Create a new page and name it “Person”.
• Add on the [connections] shortcode to the page with no options.
• Set this new page to the Directory Home Page on the Connections : Settings admin page under the General tab.
• Now edit the original page where you have the shortcode on it multiple times.
• Add force_home=true to each instance of the shortcode.
• The final shortcode should look something like this: [connections enable_search='FALSE' enable_pagination='FALSE']

yeah, sorry about that! It seems the hosts storage nodes went down taking two servers with it. One guess whose site was one one of those servers :/

Yes, it is possible but takes quite a bit of CSS to accomplish… I think this will get most of it.

Try adding this to the theme’s custom CSS area:

Well, the color of the text is inherited from the theme so it can be difficult to say exactly what needs to be done. I visited the page but it requires a login to view. Can you temporarily make it public so I can see it?
