Make sure the filename has not extended characters such as è and ç when uploading to FTP. Those characters can cause FTP file transfer issues. I was unable to download the file until I renamed it to remove those characters. I was then able to unrar the file and review it :)

Back on topic…

Install the Loco Translate WordPress plugin. Us it to translate the string in the extensions for Connections such as Form, Link and Authored. It is these addons which do not have a French translation. After you translate those plugins, please send me the PO files and I will include them so they are in all future updates. Thanks!

I tried downloading it a few times and it would not. I ended up renaming it to download.docx and then it would download. But, Word will not open it. Could try saving a new file and then zip it and load it to FTP. Let me know when it has been uploaded and I’ll go fetch it an take a look. I’ll try to correct any issues and have it in an update ready for this Friday.

Ok, what exactly do you wish to know. I’m not sure what you are looking for? An example how to use the shortcode options I referenced? If so, the links I provided have examples and a little more detail on their use.

RE: I would like to be able to limit access to the detail result of a search unless the owner of that organisation had paid their subscription.

You could set any additional detail as unlisted. All the repeatable fields have this option. The after someone pays you can set the data to public.

That data is stored in the WordPress database just posts, pages and wp users are. So, as long as your database is intact, your data is sae and restinalling Connections should be all that is required to gain access. But, it hard to know for sure, depends on what you mean by crashed.

Could you provide a little more detail on how it does not work? Something should be on the page with the shortcode.

Are the category names really all lowercase with hyphens? They looks like category slugs. The name must match exactly, so if the category name is actually “Magnetospheric Physics Aeronomy”, that is what you should use.

I actually recommend using the category shortcode option instead. You do not need to worry about spelling and capitalization and such while being a more performant database query since string matching is not needed.

I’m sure you have seen that your site is back up and has been for awhile now. Again my apologies for the error. One character in the wrong spot is all it takes.

It sounds like you might be trying to use the Category Import tool. Make sure you have installed and activated the CSV Import addon. After you do, you will see a “CSV Import” admin menu item under the Connections menu. The first button is Map, not Upload. Here are the instructions.

You could use the CSV Export All tool found on the Connections : Tools admin page under the Export tab and use the CSV Import extension to import the exported CSV file on the site.
