The first thing I noticed when open the file is that the encoding is possibly broken. Are you using Excel to export a CSV file? If you are, I highly suggest using Google Spreadsheet or LibreOffice Calc, exporting the file with UTF8 encoding. Doing this just about always fixes any important issues.

Another thing I see is that you have the Entry Type column. All are set to Individual. An individual must have both first and last names. Since you are importing colleges, I recommend setting the entry type as organization and putting the college name in the Organization field. Since you already have data in the Organization column, I suggest moving then to the Categories column since those seem to be the same info.

You can download an update to Form from your Purchase History page.

Deactivate and Delete the current version and then install the new.

The support and free is for 1 year from the date of purchase. There was an error with you account and when correcting it, the support/expiration reset to 01/18/2017. I’ll honor this so you will have access to support/updates until then, at which point you can renew for another year if you choose.

ps. If you add support license key to the Connections : Settings page under the Licenses tab, you will receive inadmin notices of updates and will be able to update with a single click like the free plugins from wp.org.

There is not a way to add the Connections Categories to the WordPress menu with counts, sorry. As an alternative though. I suggest the Widget Pack. It has a category widget which you can add to the theme’s sidebar. One of the option in the category widget is to show the count.

When moving WordPress, you need to make sure you move all the tables too. I suggest using a plugin like Duplicator or BackupBuddy when migrating site so all the content and custom tables as migrated too.

Alright, I installed the updated version and limited the category depth to 1 which will display on the very top level categories.

I would suggest the cMap template. It can be configured to more closely resemble the default template though it would be right aligned instead of left alight but I can give you a bit of CSS that you could add to the *theme’s” custom CSS area if you want it left aligned.
