Please follow this tutorial on setting up your Google Maps API keys:
https://connections-pro.com/documentation/create-google-maps-api-keys/
Hope this helps!
PS. A browser key, such the one used in the admin and frontend of the site can not be restricted by IP. It can be restricted by HTTP Referrer. This is a Google limitation, not Connections. In fact I would say that is a feature since most sites have dynamic and not static IP addresses. Only the server key can be setup with an IP restriction. You should only add that restriction if you are certain you have a static IP.

Yes, it is safe to delete and reinstall. Actually, this is pretty much WP does when it upgrades a plugin. It is that you are just doing it manually.

I think I have this corrected. You should be able to activate the license in your site admin now.
Hope this helps! Let me know.

Since I can not see the directory… lets try this first. Deactivate and delete Gridder. Download it from your purchase history and reinstall it. It just might be possible not all the files were updated properly.
Hope this helps, let me know.

The ID should increment sequentially. Though, this like core WP posts/pages, the ID are auto assigned by the database. So, there are no guarantees, but, in practice it should be fine.

Navigate to the Connections : Roles admin page.
Give your Contributor role the following capabilities:
- View Admin Menu
- View List (Manage)
- Add Entry
- Edit Entry
OR
The user you wish to add entries, assign them to the Editor role.
There is no need to create a page for them to enter data, they would enter it on the same page as your so.
Hope this helps!

Sorry, no using Custom Category Order will have no effect on how the entries are ordered. It is used only for changing the order in which the categories are displayed.

For a configuration link this, you will need a two page setup. Here’s a link to a post where I give another the step by steps directions:
The issues are different, but the instructions still apply.
Hope this helps!

RE: Will your plugin allow me to create custom permalinks?
Yes, to an extent.
If you have a WP Page named “Bakeries” and embed the Connections directory on that page, the permalink for the directory home page would be:
https://mywebsite.com/bakeries/Now, if you add a new entry in Connections named “Bow Wow Treats”, the permalink to that entry would be:
https://mywebsite.com/bakeries/name/bow-wow-treats/The
nameslug in the permalink can also be configured in the Connections settings. It could be anything you want as long as it does not conflict with any of the core WP permalink slugs and any custom post type permalink slugs that you may have.Hope this answers your question!

RE Have you thought of a forum for users to put up modifications or things they think others can use?
If you have something to share, I can definitely look at a way to get it posted.
