There is a bug were the public override settings option is not taken into consideration when determining if address/phone/email and such should be displayed. I made the code change to Connections to honor this setting under your usage scenario.

This is not possible with the Excerpt Plus template… unless you change to “mode” as discussed on this doc page:
After you do this, you can use the Contact extension to display a contact email form on the single/profile view inn Excerpt Plus.

Ahhh… now I think I understand what you are trying to achieve after having a closer look. There is a bug were the public override settings option is not taken into consideration when determining if address/phone/email and such should be displayed.
I applied a hot patch to your site which should correct the issue. Let me know if it works out alright for you and I’ll make sure the change is included in the next Connections update.

RE: the problem is the new entries won’t display on my page. The page is listed above and I sent you screen shots of the new entries and the code of the page. I do not know why they are not displaying.
I did not receive the screenshots because they all were blocked due to being too large.
There Neighborhood Helpers page? That is not a Connections Directory page. It appears to be a theme portfolio page. You probably need to add to your portfolio to added items to that page.

In the one screenshot you have the allow_public_override option set. Why have you set that? This suggest that perhaps some of the data is set to private in the entry, which would likely be the reason the items are not shown.

What is the exact shortcode you are using on both the public and private pages? Can you attach screenshots? Thanks!
In the screenshots you supplied that shows the private and public views… is that the exact same entry in both screenshots or are they two different entries?

Yes, I would export the table as an SQL file. Before you export the table, disabled the FULLTEXT support on the Connections : Settings admin page under the Search tab.
After you import the SQL file into the new database, you’ll have to delete the existing table and then rename the imported table to match the table you’re just delete.
Since one table do not migrate, I would match show the number of rows in of the additional support table match and do those too if they do not.
