I visited the page. It appears you’re displaying a lot of entries on a single page. The slowness is not a Connections issue. The same would occur if you were to attempt to display the same number of WordPress posts on a single page. I suggest that you enable the pagination feature in Gridder. I suggest a value of no more than 50 for the best performance.

Basically they control how the entries are displayed on the site’s front end. You can checkout each template on the template demo pages.

Sure, CSS can be used to change font size or change the layout a bit so they better fit within the content area you are displaying the list. Without a link so I can see I am not really able to offer any specific advise.

Gravity Forms or Connections Form? Gravity Forms does not have much is style of its own as it mostly inherits from the theme. So if the theme dev took the time to nicely format form fields, Gravity Forms will like nice. Connections Forms largely mimics the admin form using the grey color scheme as it is largely color neutral so it will look fine in most themes.

All the premium templates also include the keyword search feature. A couple of the template have it disabled by default but can easily be enabled thru a setting.

ps. If you plan on use the Category List widget, you should not use the category filter feature in the templates. Instead you I would recommend the Enhanced Categories extension.

Yes, you can use on both sites. Activate the licenses on the site in which you plan to update the plugins on. In most cases this will be your live site. If you plan on making all plugin updates on the staging site for testing first and then pushing staging to production. Activate the license on the staging site.

RE: I’m using your examples to experiment with fonts. In the following, the body text is tweakable but I can’t seem to adjust anything for the headers H1 etc.

I’ve attempted to let the templates inherit as much style from the theme as possible. In this case the theme has a style applied for the text color of a fn which is a standard class for the hCard microformat spec.

The forum supports Markdown, like the WP post/page editor. A single # at the beginning of a line is an HTML h1 tag. Due to the role you have as a forum posted you are not permitted to add h1 tags so they are converted to plain text.

After you paste in code, select it and the click the {} button. That will apply the Markdown to make the select text code.

This error generally only ever occurs when the database is out of date. Usually the cause is a failed update or the database is migrated from one server to another when the database versions versions do not match. If you have not moved your site, then the likely reason is that database became outdated due to a failed update. If that is the case it is quick and easy for me to correct. I’ll need a admin login for your site. The login details can be posted here as a private reply.

The license keys have been activated on http://filipinochamber.org/. These licenses we’re previously activated on fi*****b.net/filipinochambertest on the same day they were purchased. If you are trying to activate on a new or second site, you’ll need another license for each.
