    @ Alan

    The preview links are these:

    http://www.ilnglobal.com/?cn-pg=2&et_pb_preview=true&et_pb_preview_nonce=7290652474&iframe_id=et-fb-preview-1522337664662-809

I suspect you are running some sort of page caching which is how these links are being shown publicly. The page was cached while you were editing it. And now those cached links are being displayed publicly.

I suspect it is the same reason the other links are not working correctly. The page cache is showing the same cached paged vs the page it should be showing.

What ever you are using for page caching, try flushing it.

What is the exact shortcode you are using on this page: http://ccasite.org/members/f-rating/

What factor are you using to separate the A+ entries from the F entries?

You need to follow the steps I gave in my last reply, particularly this one:

The list view and the single entry profile view of cMap are configured separately. To configure the single entry profile view, click an entry name in the preview. Any will do. The preview will refresh displaying the single entry profile view.

    Make the changes again.

Well, what settings change did you make? It appears you may have some sort of page caching and perhaps changed a setting related to it. Many of you links are showing as preview links which would only ever be shown to the admin, not the public.

This site, http://midwestfiberartstrails.org/listing/, the one you are trying to copy is using the cMap template. This is the template I would recommend for you. It supports the category drop down filter, the keyword search field and a Google Map “out of the box”. See the demo on this page of cMap.

Configuring cMap is the easiest because it utilizes the Customizer to provide you with a point and click interface and a live preview. It includes many options including support for how the image is scaled/cropped as well as many visual styling settings to control the color of various elements within the template.

The little map in the sidebar of http://midwestfiberartstrails.org/listing/ is not a feature in Connections or any of its addons. Looking at the page source of the site, it appears they are using and iFrame widget and ebedded this page, https://www.jimapco.com/maproom/midwestfiberartstrails/rsp.html, within the widget’s iFrame. The map appears to be created with this service: http://www.jimapco.com/.

Your last post mentioned this site: https://newsroom.findlay.edu/experts-guide/. It does indeed use the Excerpt Plus template which does include the category drop down filter and keyword search. It does not yet support displaying a map of the entry on a map. It also is more difficult to configure on because it requires configuration via many shortcode options vs using the Customizer. Also, in regards to the image, you would have to “preprocess” image before uploading them to the entry so they will scale and fit appropriately within the thumbnail size available in the template.

You have provided a lot of details. I hope I have not missed anything and have provided you with clear direction. Hope this helps!

Navigate to the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Customize button for the cMap template.

The page will refresh displaying the Customizer on the left and a preview on the right.

Click the back arrow in the upper left of the Customizer and then click the Advanced panel.

Change the Phone format option from the default of %label%%separator% %number% to %number%.

Change the Link format option from the default of %label%%separator% %title% to %title%

Do this for each that you wish to change.

Thye list view and the single entry profile view of cmap are configured separately. To configure the single entry profile view, click an entry name in the preview. Any will do. The preview will refresh displaying the single entry profile view.

    Make the changes again.

Click the Publish button and the exit the Customizer.

    Hope this helps!

Log into your Google Webmaster Console and remove the links…otherwise you just have to wait until Google crawls your site and then decides to remove the link from its index.

    Hope that helps!

Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Display tab.

Scroll down to the Results List section and disable the Show Clear Search Message option.

Sorry, no, I do not have a solution available to add the country links above the directory like th categories.

What you could do is add the links manually above the shortcode on the page. For example these working links to your site:

That should not be too much trouble to setup and maintain.

    Hope that helps!

This is not likely an issue with Connections, but the update process with WordPress.

Deactivate and delete the Connections plugin. Your data and settings are safe. Now reinstall Connections as you normally would install a plugin.

If you still get a similar error…

I suspect you might be exhausting the resources allocated to PHP. Check the PHP memory limit and increase it if needed. I recommend at least 128MB for a WordPress installation. Also check the PHP execution limit. I recommend 300. Here’s a link to a tutorial on how to increase the PHP execution limit.

Hope this helps, let me know.
