Unfortunately I will not be reverting to the previous functionality because I need to keep parity between the template feature set and Connections. However, there is a different method that may work for your needs. Try this shortcode:

    [connections link_format='%title%']

This will remove the label and the colon separator showing only the link title.

Nope, not a change. It’s always been that way.

Ok, Google Maps are only available on a couple of the premium templates such as cMap and Market. They are not available on any of the default templates. Sorry for the confusion. I’ll update the text in the settings to make this more clear.

Jane, if I understand correctly, yes, what you want to do is possible with any of the premium templates. Each template can have field types enabled or disabled per shortcode. Check out the doc pages for cMap to give you an idea of what is possible. I hope that helps.

    @ Cees

That may not work completely as expected because I was using that function and had to remove it because it will take the date and offset it to the blogs local timezone. So, depending on your current timezone, the date could be offset in a manner where it appears to be the day before or after the recorded date.

    @ Gregg Snyder

Take a look at the order_by shortcode option. That may provide the solution you need.
