Interesting indeed…
The solution was actually rather simple. You needed to sent the page template to be “Content”. It seems the theme’s default template is to show the “blog” template. Not the choice I would have made … but that is something that you should keep in mind.
What clued me in to that was the page was using the blog styling rather than the page styling.
A couple other things I noticed…
On the “Meet the Pulse Team” page, that stair stepping of the profiles. You can remove that by removing the “return” between the shortcode. Basically make it one very long run-on sentence. I hope that makes sense.
On most of the admin pages there is a fatal javascript error caused by one of the theme’s javascript files. This will cause you problems. A tell tale sign … Go to the Connections admin page [the error doesn’t happen on my pages]. Now, hover your mouse over any of the upper admin menu items. See how the menu opens. Now, go to the Pages admin menu, see how the menus do not open on hover?
On the front end, the theme is looking for its style.css file and can’t find it, so the server is throwing a 404 not found error.
Hope that helps!

Yes, it is possible, but you would have to rewrite the logic that builds the search query. See this post for an alternate solution:

You can send me the login details using the contact form linked at the bottom of the page. And I’ll take a quick look.

Here’s the link to the QuickStart. Without more specifics, not sure what else to link you to.
There is no difference between Connections and Connections Pro. Actually, Connections Pro does not exist; which is why you will never find a reference by my to it. Although, users will refer to Connections Pro from time to time. connections-pro.com on the other hand, is just the domain name for this site. Unfortunately getting just connections.com will never happen. I have considered registering connections-business-directory.com, but that is just too long even if it would be a little better in SEO terms.
Not sure which “Help” page you might be referring to, but here’s the link to the shortcode options. This can be found under the Support : Documentation menu up in the main navigation on the top right of this page. Another place you can find the link is the “Documentation” button on the top of the home page. It’s off to the right where it says “Documents”.
The Connections admin page can be found in the admin section of WordPress. It’ll be towards the bottom left of the menu items. Depending if you have the admin menu collapsed or not … it will either say “Connections” or just be an icon that looks like the “C” in the logo at the top left of this page.
Can you explain more as to what you want to know about “How upgrades happen?”.
Which link are you clicking on that make it appear you have to “buy the upgrade”?

I’m assuming this is in reference to the Form add-on plugin, yes?

Forgot … Just add the CSS to the theme’s custom CSS area if it has one, or, alternatively, add it to the end of the theme’s style.css file.

Did you attempt is use the CSS example from above?
http://connections-pro.com/support/topic/change-font-type-colour/#post-256987Of course, you have to change the color to your desired color and not white as shown in the example.
Use this to remove the background:
#cn-cmap .cn-entry { background: none !important; }Steven Zahm
