Thanks!
Have you left a review? If not and if you have a moment; I would truly appreciate one as they really do make a difference. Many thanks in advance!

Here’s a FAQ that explains how. Hope that helps!

2. This is the csv export script another user whipped up for their own use. You might be able to use it. You would have to come up with a method to “marry” the entry table with the email table unless you only really need to get at the email addresses in which case you would only need to export the email table. Sorry, no suggestions on the photos…
4. Yes, all or nothing because that sets that entry level visibility not the entry data specific visibility. Those default to public.

Hmmm… could I get a temp admin account so I can take a closer look?

No, you cannot have two installs of Connections. However, you can use this method with any of the templates that feature a category drop down. Basically you segregate the directories by category effectively permitting multiple directories. I hope that makes sense.

Could you add a screen capture of your page with the custom query. I image it’s much quicker because you are not joining the taxonomy tables.
Also, could I get a sql export off the following tables?

Sure. When adding an address, phone number or email address to an entry [even a public entry] you can set that specifically to public/private/unlisted.

Sorry to day I have no solution. I get the request to group by category from time to time … it is on the to do list; but, honestly, I’m not even sure how to pull that off. The problem is categories are hierarchical to n-depth. I’m not sure what the presentation should look like once flattened down to a list.

1. Correct, CSV Import does not import images.
2. You wouldn’t use Form, you would use Link. Form is to support moderated submission from unregistered site visitors. Link is to allow a user to maintain their own entry, such as adding a photo.
3. Not sure I understand the question… CSV Import is for importing only. It does not wipe or update existing data.
4. The column header name for Visibility doesn’t matter, but I do suggest “Visibility” so it is easy to recognize. The row values can be ‘unlisted’, ‘private’ or ‘public’ … no quotes.
5. Here an excellent FAQ that deals with the issue and resolves it for nearly everyone.
I hope I’ve thoroughly answered your questions!

Nope, never run across this before. Which version of Connections do you have installed? I’m thinking it is not the most recent judging from the URL. That “+” in the URL is very odd, Connections never created a query string like that when adding/editing an entry. So something must rewriting it and maybe that is causing the error.
Any way, the latest version of Connections no longer uses that URL; actually it uses internal actions. maybe updating would resolve the issue.
