You need to undo the changes you made to the Connections code changing srcset to src. This is valid HTML5 markup for the new picture element to support HiDPI (Retina) images. Here’s a great article on the attribute..

As you see many browsers do support it:

For those that do not, a polyfill called Picturefill is loaded by Connections to enable support.

The reason you see only the Alt text is likely you were viewing the page in a browser that does not support the new element and a bug in the theme.

It appears the theme is missing the wp_footer() template tag. This will break a great many plugins. You’ll need to contact the theme dev to have them fix that.

The single display seems to working just fine, it is using the single view of the cMap template (it has a different design which should be more inline of the theme’s page template). When you filter by the region, locality, organization and such, you’re being shown the results in the result list view of cMap.

1 thru 3, You’ll need the Link extension for Connections. Optionally you may want the [Form](http://connections-pro.com/add-on/form/_ extension too. This would allow frontend editing instead of being limited to the users edit entry profile admin page. Login is handled thru WordPress so you can use any registration/login plugin to handle that feature. I do have a free no frills Login extension available.

One thing to note Connections does not handle or process user registration or verification. There are many available plugins that specialize in this feature set.

SEO is included. It is constantly being tweaked and changed to meet the evolving best practices.

5 and 6, most users use a membership plugin such as Restrict Content Pro. Membership plugins also can handle the user registration and verification as well as limiting access to the directory page. The levels/roles set in the member plugin can be used to limit if a user has permission to add or edit their entry by setting those capabilities on the Connections : Roles admin page after those roles are set in the membership plugin.

You need to use the list_type shortcode option to limit the list to only families.

Changing the list type will also change which template Connections will use. Go to the the Connections : Templates admin page and click the Family template type in the upper left and then activate your desired template.

Not sure what you mean by the guy at WordPress helped you, but I’m glad to hear you have the templates installed.

I’m not sure what you mean by format it in to your site though … the templates each have their own unique style. You would choose the template that you like best for your site. It sounds like you might want to use either the cMap or Market template. To use either one of those templates, go to the Connections : Templates admin page and activate the one of your choosing.

Connections, does not have an interactive map feature at this time.

Yes word press helped me but now I need to know how to make format it onto my website. For example, I would like for each category to be represented and to be able to click on that and it lead me to the facilities. Also I would like to include the interactive map. Can you please help me with that because the guys at word press couldn’t do it. My phone # is xxx-xxx-xxxx. Thanks you
