That is odd that you are getting this error be cause Connections does not declare get_plugin_data() function. This is very likely being caused by another plugin. I suggest following the advice in this FAQ to identify a plugin conflict.

Looking at the screenshot, I suggest enabling the Templates Compatibility option because the theme is interfering with the templates in Connections.

To increase the font size you can use the CSS font-size property to enlarge the fonts.

I followed the link both in a regular browser window and a private browsing window… I do not think I see the what you talking about because your search results would be tailored to you if you are logged into Google. Can you attach screenshots as well as the search links from a private browsing window so I can replicate and see the issue?

Sorry, but I’m not planning on integrating Connections with third party analytics plugins. I highly suggest you use Google Analytics if you really wish to know the top pages/posts and being able to track trends.

What “site stats“? It works fine with Google Analytics (webmaster tools).

Ok, the new login worked. There is a Code Snippet that was enqueueing these old scripts. My guess it was in place to fix an issue where there were not being loaded. I deactivated the Code Snippet and now the Description content tray works.

I suggest following the QuickStart which covers the basics.

Make sure your test entries are set to “Public” this is the default.

Share a link to the page where the directory should show.

You can, but that would require altering the template’s PHP file. I would highly recommend using a template override file.

Yes, you can. I recommend using a custom CSS file., though, you can add custom CSS overide any other why you wish. You just need to keep in mind the load order of the files.

The best way to accomplish this is to use a membership plugin like Restrict Content Pro to sell memberships. This will allow you multiple ways to monetize your site which the directory would only be one part of. This affords you much more flexibility rather than being limited to only the directory.
