Sorry, no, not at this time. Perhaps in the next update I’ll make the content trays (bio/notes/map) tabbed as an option being able to set the default open tab.

re: I have been a tour over to transifex.com to register as helper for the Icelandic version, but I get no answers and I am not accepted to the group there
Please do not message using Transifex. I only use it to manage translations, not for support. Thanks for you help!
I just now approved you request to join the Icelandic translation team. You will not have access to start helping in translation Connections.
I’ll include your translations in updates. You do not have to wait for me to release an update to have the translation working on your site. Here’s a link to a FAQ which explains how:
http://connections-pro.com/faqs/ive-added-or-updated-a-translation-do-i-have-to-wait-for-an-update/
This will only translate the strings in the “core” Connections plugin. The extensions and templates will have to be translated separately. This is not a bug or limitation in Connections this is due to how WordPress manages translations.
In each extension and template plugins folder you will find a
languagesfolder. Within that folder you will find thePOTfile. You can load thatPOTfile into an application called POedit. In POedit you can create your translated and save them and the required mo/po files.re: I am sure that there will be others which can use the Icelandic version :) thank you so much
If you send me you translation, I can make sure they are included in updates so all can benefit. I appreciate any time you spend to do the translation work!
Let me know if you need any further help.

Correct when selecting the date it will be displayed with the m/d/Y format. This can not be changed at this time because the date format need to be compatible with the date format saved in the database.
You can control the display of the date on the site’s frontend by changing the data format found on the Connections : Settings admin page under the General tab. Here you can change the display format to your desired Y/m/d format.
Hope that helps!

Please load any page from your site in Chrome. The page does not matter…
Hit the F12 key and then click the Console tab.
You’ll find this error:
main-frontend.js?ver=1.9.6:309 Uncaught TypeError: jQuery(...).prettyPhoto is not a function(…)(anonymous function)The fatal javascript error is being generated by the theme. This error is basically preventing all javascript from the point of this error from running which includes the javascript for the Google Maps API.
Looking at the page source, it seems quite a bit is no longer working but my be less obvious.
You’ll also see many other errors, those too should be resolved, but at the moment their are not fatal / preventing your site from functioning correctly.
I hope that helps! Let me know.

I just visit a page in IE11

The photo displayed just fine for me. Maybe it is IE on your computer? Can you try IE11 on another?

It appears the Name permalink option was inadvertently turned off…
Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Advanced tab.
Scroll to the Permalink section.
Enable the Name permalink option and save the changes. The names on the tile should not b links to the entries detail/profile page.
Hope this helps!

Check out the doc page for the order_by shortcode option. There an option to sort by the first name.
Hope that helps!

Keymaster@ Tim
This signifies that there is an error with the Connections terms database tables. Perhaps incomplete or corrupt. If you give me a temp WP admin login I can take a look. The login details can be posted here as a private reply.

re: I am doing a neighborhood directory and would like to import a CVS file with two names, two phone number and two emails for each profile. What would the best route be?
Well, each entry only supports having a single name but you can import an entry with two numbers and email addresses. To learn how to setup the CSV file, add one entry with the two numbers and email addresses and export it.
re: Would I be able to import about 1,000 of these resident profiles in any particular way and then change the strings, as defined in your previous reply, or is there another better way?
You can do it either order. I recommend setting up the directory to you liking first, then import.
re: Also, this may be a silly question, but is there a limit on the number of resident profiles that I could upload at one time?
In theory, no limit. Practically speaking, that really depends on the web host. I’ve tested importing up to 20,000 on inexpensive shared hosts like Bluehost and 30,000 to 60,000 on a higher end web host. For example a SiteGround Cloud Server instance.
Hope that helps!
