That is because none of those are the valid license keys. Looks like you changed the last few characters to an “x”. It also appears 3 of them were actually activate on the .org site vs. the .cs site they are installed on now.

Ok, within the connections-template you should have a folder named with the template slug that you are overriding and your override files should be within that folder.

I installed the Query Monitor plugin and it shows several errors, one related to Connections.

The database is reporting this error:

Out of sort memory, consider increasing server sort buffer size

This is a very odd error, never seen it before. This seems to be a webhost configuration issue. Perhaps they can increase the sort buffer size for you???

Now, interestingly, a more complex query is run in the admin and it works just fine. To make it more interesting, if I use [connections category=2], the directory displays just fine which is odd because that creates a more complex query.

Anyway, I suggest asking the host if they can increase the buffer size for you.

Yes, it is meant to be used in the sidebar.

I think the only other thing that I can add that might be relevant to the widget is that it is not meant to show all entries in the directory, but a limited number. By default, this is 10. This is configurable though. So you can increase or decrease the number as needed. You can also use it more than once in the sidebar if needed with different options to show a different list on entries.

That is displaying correctly. That is how CSS columns work. What you want is to remove the columns. You can use CSS to remove the columnar layout.

You can use the shortcode in a text widget, but, you need a plugin to enable the use of shortcodes within text widgets. Although you can do this, I really would not recommend this because the [connections] shortcode was not intended for that purpose so things my not function as expected.

Another option would be the List widget that comes with the Widget Pack. That’s the best plug and play option.

Is this in reference to the image displayed in the admin? If it is, sorry, no, this is not possible at this time.

If this is in reference to the Gridder template, you can only choose to display the image or log, you can not display both.

Or… if this is in reference to the Gridder template and you mean the contact info area in the slide down panel… sorry, no, the only way to accomplish this would be to edit both the template’s PHP code and CSS files. This would apply to the website link too. If this is something you feel you could do, I can give you direction to point you in the right direction to add these. If you are not, I do provide customization services. Just let me know either way.
