    @ Brad

Is should like you are using the All export tool, is that correct?

But then it sounds like you are trying to import the result of that tool using the Category import tool.

If that is the case, this will not work (well, you could import just the categories). You need the CSV Import extension. Here’ the docs outlining the requirements and tips when importing a CSV file using the CSV Import extension. The file exported using the Export CSV All tool meets the already meets requirements. So there is not much to worry about there. Just make sure you read [this FAQ] if you are importing to a new site.

If you are migrating an entire site, the proper way to migrate is to use a plugin like BackupBuddy or DUplicator. They take the pain out of migrating entire sites.

    Hope this answers your question.

Yes this is possible. I would recommend at least the Enhanced Categories extension. With this addon, you will be able to achieve this functionality.

    Hope this helps!

    @ Jack

The easiest way to do this would be the List widget included in the Widget Pack. You can set up the List widget to display a list to display as randomized. You can then placed in the theme’s sidebar or placed on a page with a shortcode.

Now, you can also use the Connections shortcode with the order_by shortcode option. There is an example on how to display a randomized list. This setup will be a little more complicated so I highly recommend setting the home_id shortcode option with tht epage ID of the page set as your directory home page. So, your shortcode on the home page would look something like this:

    [connections home_id=X order_by='id|RANDOM']

Hope this answers your question thoroughly!

Sorry, but I am not exactly sure what you are asking for. Could you give more details?

Hmmm, I have never heard of such a setup or how one would configure such a setup…but, what I can say is that the items will work just fine. However, you will only be able to perform updates of the extensions and templates on the site where they state they are active and receiving updates though.

    Hope that answers your question.

Shorry, but a search result count display number is an available feature.

Please see this FAQ, the “License Activated on Another Site” section.

You need to deactivate the licenses from the old site so you can activate on the new. Changing the domain, is jst like changing sites even if you stay on the same server using the same install because they are activated by domain name.

    Hope that helps!

Are the links in the new sales confirmation emails working for your. I do no expect the old ones to work. Please forward one of the new emails. Thanks.

I just resent the sale confirmation email, let me know it the links work or not. It seems my service provider for sending emails make a change to their systems which interfere with the download links. If the links do not work, please reply back to the sales confirmation email so I can see the links. Thanks!

    @ David

Well, that is a complicated question because even though what you see is different, the underlying code to support these is the same. But to answer this as simple as possible. I recommend following this:

    http://connections-pro.com/2015/06/23/quicktip-custom-field-adding-a-text-field/

The pro is that when adding a custom field over using the Custom Fields is that the custom field is also automagically available in both the Form and Link addons whereas the Custom Fields is not. The con is the inverse.

    Hope that helps!

ps. The confusing terminology lays with WordPress because WordPress pages and posts have a Custom Fields metabox too, but, at the same time they can have custom fields added by thems and plugins (ex. theme options for pages or posts). Clear as mud?!?
