Great to hear you figured it out!

    @ Tyler

That error from the server could be the of memory allocated to PHP has been exhausted or a PHP function conflict.

I suspect for the former over the latter. Here’s an excellent blog post which covers how to increase the memory allocated to PHP..

My suggestion is to start at the top and work your way down the list. Each host is different so the method to increase the memory will be different for each web host.

Hope this helps, let me know.

    @ Mary

On the theme options page, click the Misc Settings tab and turn off the Select2 Select option and the drop downs in Connections will function correctly again.

    Hope this helps!

    @ Robert

Sorry, copy/paste error on my part. Change you shortcode to this.

    [connections template="slim-plus" image_fallback="none" image='none' color="#4682b4"]

    That should do it.

re: How much would you charge to make that change to the template’s PHP code?

Please use the contact link at the very bottom of the page and I’ll supply you with a quote. Thanks!

re: If someone edits their entry, will it go back for moderation, or does it stay approved? We would like it to go back to moderation.

It can be either. Set the user role capability to Add Moderated and Edit Moderated for the role your users are assigned on the Connections : Roles admin page. Do not select Add Entry or Edit Entry options. They allow adding/editing without moderation.

re: I have added the login plugin, but now it’s not showing the directory to people who aren’t logged in, even though I have not checked the box indicating the user must be logged in to see the directory.

That could happen if the role settings were changed from their defaults or the users are assigned a custom role (other than the WP default Subscriber role). On the Connections : Roles admin page, make sure the role your users are assigned have the View Public, Add Moderated and Edit Moderated options enabled.

    Hope that helps!

I should add… if you want it without me installing and configuring it, I would be more than happy to simply send it your way with a sample shortcode used for its, configuration.

You do not have this addon because it is beta and has not been released to anyone other than those who have paid for me to install and configure it for them. This addon as it is will likely never be released, rather, it may be, integrated with templates as options to enhance their current search functionality. These features will not be integrated until I have a user interface developed so it can be configured easily via point and click. This add on in its present form is stable and many use it on their live production sites but because it is more complex to setup, I only sell it as individual service when requested, not part of the pro packs. This service include include installation and configuration.

re: The old ticket has been closed, so opening a new one with hopefully one last issue.

It is not closed, if you log back in, you will be able to post to it.

re: I have set up the plugin and the pages exactly as you have instructed, but my results list is still not showing up. If you go to this page http://www.huron.net/members, you see the number of entries per category, but when you click on them, nothing shows up. I don’t know why that is happening. I made a “Member” page that holds the [connections] code, which is set as the directory homepage, and the “Members” page that holds the [connections_categories] code.

When I visit the members page and click a category, I get the results just fine. Seems to be working fine. Perhaps the browser cached pages are throw you off. Try opening a private browser window and visit the page. Does it work correctly now. If it does, clear your browser cache or force refresh the page so browser will download the page fresh rather than show you a locally cached version.

    Hope that helps!.
