    @ Candace

Great to hear you were able to resolve it. Apologies that I was not around this weekend to assist. I usually try to answer tickets over the weekend but our family has been really sick this past week and its slowed us all down, a lot. No excuse, but it is the reason. We all on the rebound now so I will be more prompt after I get through some of my backlog.

Can you please share a link to the page with the issue so I can see it. The screenshot help, but, they do not give me a way to offer a solution.

ASsuming the template is rendering correctly… you could use some custom CSS to tighten up padding and margins. Or perhaps one of the premium templates would be a better fit, stylistically, for your site. If you’d, like to go the custom CSS route, here’s a link to a tutorial on where to put your CSS file so it is update safe.

    Hope this helps!

Something is manipulating images with javascript. If I disable javascript in my browsers, the images display just fine. Why only the category images, I have no idea. But the their width/height is being overridden and set to 0.

My suggestion is to do the plugin conflict test. Let me know what you find out.

re: I think I have the right API keys in not sure because Google doesn’t list them as browser and server. The whole Google Console is a little confusing but I am verified. Nothing comes up though when I click to show map.

Open the business directory page in the Chrome Browser, hit the F12 key and then click the Console tab. You’ll see this error from Google, Google Maps API warning: InvalidKey.

This says the key you have entered is not correct. You can use the error listed in the browser console to help get your maps working.

Google did change their Console a little since I wrote the tutorial. You basically follow the same directions but instead you create two keys. On only one of these keys you add the referer restriction. The one without restriction is the server key, the other will be the browser key.

re: Also, I deleted my categories so that I could reenter them and now the import CSV doesn’t work for categories?

I’ve never run across that before. The code to bulk import categories is completely different and separate from the code to delete categories so their should be no effect. Can you please describe the exact steps you have followed to import categories?

Sorry, no, not out of the box. But if you purchase the pro pack, I can send you copy of the beta add-on used on https://sscit.org/ with a sample shortcode and configuration instreuctions.

Hope I have thoroughly answered your question.

I did address that in this reply. I gave a bit of custom CSS that should fix it on your site. Give it a try.

Not sure anything like this ever could be a “standard” feature since custom fields could be literally setup for any type of data.

Looking at what you’ve done, I actually thing categories would be a better solution. There are trivial (relatively speaking) to split up for displaying separate lists, filtering by, permalinks and even split into separate options in the admin for selection when adding/editing an entry.

For filtering, you could even use a beta add-on for Connections which allows filter based on multiple categories. See it in action on this live 3rd party site: https://sscit.org/ in the “Find A Therapist” section.

I can send you this add-on since you purchased the pro pack with a sample shortcode used for configuring it. Or as a service I do offer installation and configuration of this add-on since it is a bit more difficult. I think I plan on implement the final result into the core search feature that the premium templates.

Do you mean if someone types “Analytics” in the keyword search all entries with it assigned should return as a result?

Do I need this for something. I hope I have not forgotten something I should be doing for you!
