You already have the tools you need, Form and Link.
Following the Result List Action and Entry Action instructions in the configuration instructions for Link. This will add links to above the directory to allow a person to view the entry and a link to edit their entry using Form on the frontend.
You can also use shortcodes to place these links on other page.
You can even place these links in the sites navigation menus.
Another option… the Login widget extension also has builtin support for Form and Link. With all three installed, the Login widget will have options to display the view and edit entry links.
Hope this answers your question thoroughly!

re: Is there an easy way to email to a “category” within Connections?
Sorry, no, this is not a feature in Connections. If you wish to bulk email you can use the email export feature found on the Connections : Tools admin page. YOu can then import the CSV file into your favorite mailing list/bulk email plugin/app to do bulk emailing.
re: Oops… just saw read the “Contact” plugin description…
This is not for bulk email. It simply allow your site’s visitors to email the entry via a contact form, keeping the entry’s email info confidential.
Hope this helps!

re: Yes, but we want each business listing indexed, and I’m not seeing those listed in the sitemap, which would be good SEO practices.
This is what I am saying, they will be indexed. The only page that is required for the sitemap is the directory home page.

Sorry, no, bulk emailing is not a feature available in Connections. You could always use the Email CSV Export feature found on the Connections Tools admin page to export the email details to use in a bulk email app/plugin.
Hope this helps!

Do own a premium template which has pagination support?
The issue sounds like you have some malformed HTML in either the note or bio field in the entry where the issue starts. open the entry and ensure any HTML you’ve enter is added correctly.
It is also possible that PHP has exhausted the memory allocated to it and the page has not completely rendered. Displaying 80 at a time on the less expensive web hosts where resources are very limited may be too many. I highly suggest a max of 20. You might be able to get away with 50.
Hope this helps!

re: I’m not finding those, or am I missing something?
Nope, not missing anything. if the directory home page is in your sitemap, Google will crawl and index the directory pages. There is nothing to worry about. Concentrate on making quality content for your site that is always fresh and Google will reward your site for doing so in the index.

If the directory home page is in the sitemap, which is should be, the directory will be properly indexed by search engines.

re; So it is restricting only the Logo creation, without that the Entry can be created. So I was thinking that it has something to do with the upload directory permissions. Any suggestions?
I’ll have to download it and see if I can replicate.
re: Can Connections plugin or its add-ons do the similar functionality as ‘restrict” in that case we may deactivate ‘Restrict”. Can you please suggest?
I guess that depends, what exactly are you trying to restrict?
