RE: The issue that I’m having is that there is no “Image URL” in the drop down for me to choose. It appears to be missing.

I reread you last reply and you said “Version 1.4.3 is the version I installed originally“, the version that has this feature is 1.4.4. I know in my reply I had incorrectly stated 1.4.3, but it is definitely the 1.4.4 you need to update to. If you activated your license, it’ll show up as an available update on your Plugins admin page.

RE: Will this fix be in the next update?

Absolutely. I had made the change to my development code and tested it before making the same change on your site.

You can change the limit by using myPHPAdmin or similar tool. Using myPHPAdmin you would view the table structure for the {wpdb-prefix}_connections table and then change the title field from tinytext to text.

    Hope that helps!

Sorry, but presently the only way to do this is to edit the template as discussed in this tutorial.

    I found the issue…

I added the ability for custom fields, text and textarea, to auto register themselves for search. The one field has the name of Superintendent's Honored Star Case that 's was causing an error which only revealed itself doing admin ajax requests on your site. Well, at least causing it to report a server error 500 even though the request responses were fine.

I tweaked the code to handle field names with punctuation and other extended characters on your site. This tweak seems to have resolved the issues you were experiencing. Give it a go and let me know.

No, the ID needs to match the one the WP database assigns to the entry. Other users do what you want by purging the database and importing the file fresh for each update.

Add a column to your CSV file called “Image URL” (the name is not really that important, just makes it easy to identify). In each row add the URL to the image to be imported. When you upload your CSV and proceed to the mapping step … map the CSV Image column to the “Image URL” in the drop down.

    Hope that helps!

RE: After installing the most recent Connections update v8.6.8 I have been experiencing issues with multiple plugins.

Do you recall what version you upgraded from? There has not been any significant changes since the 8.6 update released in March and those changes were largely focused on working specifically with the address data when reading/displaying an entry. All the 8.6.x updates since then have been minor bugfixes and tweaks. None of the changes would cause so many conflicts.

    RE: File Manager

There are two plugins with this name at wp.org with this name. I installed them both and both seem to work fine … as long as both are not activate at the same time. When both are active the one throws and error about not being able to connect. Looks like both plugins use the same library to manage files so they are conflicting with each other. Do you by chance have both installed and active?

    RE: All-In-One WP Migration

I installed and activated. Didn’t configure anything, simply exported to a file. It did a 2GB backup in just a couple minutes. So that seems to work fine. Are you having trouble with exporting using a specific destination?

    RE: Ultimate Member

I already have this installed on my test site so I activated it. I only have the default forms created but the setting for each field do load as they should.

    RE: User Insights

Looks like this is available for purchase only so I can not test. But based on testing so far It seems like it would work fine too.

    RE: DIVI Builder

I just did a custom job a couple weeks ago where the theme was Divi and used the Divi Builder and I did not notice any issues with using it. Was there something specific that timed out? I personally only have an older version of Divi so what I can test is limited.

Overall things seems to work fine with the plugin listed. Did you by chance do any other updates to other plugins or the theme at around the same time in noticing these issues? What was your testing methodology which indicated that Connections was the cause?

    @ Cole

I’ve made some great progress on this. I found what appears a very solid third party library for creating vCards. The files should be much more standards compliant (at least as vCard are concerned). There is a good chance this might affect your vCards and what you’ve come to expect when importing them. Hopefully it’ll be better.

If you send me a CSV export from the Connections : Tools admin page using the All tool, I can import it and compare the old vCard output vs the new to ensure this will not cause any regressions before releasing the update.

    Hope to hear back!
