    Yes, this should be possible.

    On the Connections : Settings admin page under the Display tab check the Single Entry option and update the settings.

    Now go to the Connections : Templates admin page and click Individual and then activate the the Bio Entry Card template. Then do the same for the Organization template type.

    Sorry, no. The search doesn’t return results for searching by category name or category description. Actually no one has ever even asked that before now so I haven’t even considered it.

    Same for displaying the category description. I put that in place many years ago and to my recollection none has ever wanted to display it either.

    The best I can do at the moment is add it to my feature request list.

    No, there was nothing to update. I edited the plugin files right on the site. CAn I get a copy of the plugin so I can take a look at its source?

    Entries assigned to children categories should still be shown when the parent category is selected, that has not changed.

    What is the exact shortcode you’re using?

    I’m not familiar at at with the Joomla ecosystem or SOBI2 Business Directory. If is supports a CSV export, you could use the CSV Import Add-on to do the import but that would be data only, not the image or logo.

    Not sure if that helps at all, but I hope it does.

    I think what you’re to do is grouping by category which Connections does not currently support.

    The only option would be to use the shortcode on the same page, once for each category. The problem with that is each instance of the shortcode will be affected by the search which would give “weird” end user experience.

    Sorry, but I can not think of a way to do what you want. The only recommendation I would make is to remove search completely.

    I am assuming you install cMap as a plugin and activated it, right?

    Does not sound like you activate the cMap template on the Connections : Templates admin page.
