Yes, with Link is installed and activated when new users login they will be linked to “their” entry in Connections based on an email match.

The [raw] shortcode is from the theme, not Connections, and from my experience it’s pretty buggy. Theme devs, especially those on Themeforest, all pretty much copied the same code from the same tutorial. With that said, Connections 0.7.6 and newer I have worked around the issues caused by the [raw] shortcode, for the most part anyway. However, the workaround is off by default and must be turned on in the advanced settings. Why did this cause a problem for you, sorry, I don’t know, but I’m glad you’ve found a fix and it was relatively simple.

Honestly, not quite sure. I always say 767 because somewhere in the WordPress docs they do not recommend a setting over 767 and that you should never use 777.

Yes, that is correct. However, the CSS files will be found here:
../wp-content/plugins/cmap
since it is now a plugin.

After you make your changes you must minify the cmap.css file and name it cmap.min.css.

You need to export the Connections tables using phpMyAdmin or similar tool and reimport them in you new database.

Not sure why Firefox is failing to read the CSS properly … it always has before.

I didn’t suggest this before because I saw you customized the color … but … I think you should upgrade to cMap 3.0.x. It is a free update which can be downloaded via your Purchase History. Just take note to the special upgrade instructions.
