I know this topic has been marked as resolved, but I am experiencing an issue which I think is the same as what the OP described, but in a different place.

When adding a new category or editing an existing one, the category description can only be edited in ‘text’ mode. If you switch to ‘visual’, there is no toolbar and the text area is a blank, white space.

This is with the latest versions of WP (3.9) and Connections (0.8.5)

Thank you again for your speedy response. I shall watch with interest how the plugin continues to develop.

Thank you very much for your speedy response. I can confirm that the new release of Connections has indeed resolved this issue for me.

One supplementary question, if I may, and this may be a limitation of the Google Maps API, but by clicking on the word ‘Google’ at the bottom left of any displayed map, it is possible to “see this area on Google Maps”. Whilst this link opens (in a new tab/window) the map on Google’s own website, this just shows the general area and there is no map pin for the exact location. Including the exact location would be useful, especially for those using a phone or other GPS-enabled mobile device. When I follow this link on my own Android phone, it opens the map in Google’s ‘Maps’ app, but, without the actual location being included in the link, I cannot easily use the app to navigate to that location.

If the Google Maps API does not allow for this, may I suggest the option of an additional ‘Open in Google Maps’ link for this functionality (which is the solution used by The Events Calendar plugin).
