Navigate to the Connections : Settings admin page and click the Licenses tab. Input and activate your support license key for the Widget Pack and activate it. After you do, you should be able to update without issue.

I’ve completed the work. It took less than I initially thought so the invoice is for less than estimated. I have a few small things to clean up code-wise tomorrow, but the update 8.5.15 should be released by Friday as planned.

I suspect the tables were created with the InnoDB db engine which does not support FULLTEXT indexes in the version of MySQL installed on the server.

Log into the webhost’s control panel for your site and use the phpMyAdmin tool to check the table engine being used and if it is InnoDB, change the Connections tables to MyISAM. After you do that, then toggle the FULLTEXT setting in Connections so the FULLTEXT indexes will be created by the database.

I highly recommend using the Say What? plugin as explained in this QuickTip on how to change text in Connections.

Original String: Work
Text Domain: connections
Replacement String: Office

Alternatively you can use the shortcode:

[connections tr_work_addr='Office']

If you use the shortcode, do not copy/paste it, manually type it so you do not have problem.

I just tested this on a fairly old iPad (iPad 2 or 3 ???) with 9.3.1 installed and it worked fine. So it seems to work fine. Honestly I am surprise a little because iOS did not use to support vCards at all unless you emailed it to yourself. I like that improvement to iOS but if it is not working for you, unfortunately, there is nothing I can do to fix the issue on your iPhone.

The issue is with the permalink setup. Connections does not support permalink setups which use index.php in its structure. Please go to the WordPress Permalinks admin page and remove that. This will allow Connections to work and improve the SEO of your site.
