    @ Jana

    re: License allows for installs on multiple websites, with support and upgrades included for only 1 site for 12 months;

    Correct. Because the templates and extension have to be GPL licensed you are free to install on as many sites as you wish. When you purchase a support license, unless a multiple site license is purchased, I provide support and updates only to a single site.

    re: Support license can be renewed annually for 80% of purchase price;

    Correct, support licenses can be renewed at a 20% discount off of the full price at the time of renewal.

    re: Upgrades are only available on a site where the support license is active.

    Correct.

    re: When the support license lapses, Connections and add-ons will continue to function but will not upgrade.

    Correct. They will function up to the point that they don’t due to compatibility reasons. I work hard to ensure this does not happen but sometimes it must happen in order to move forward.

    re: When my development site goes live, I will be changing the domain name. How do I rejig the license for the new domain?

    My recommendation is not to activate until after you move the domain. But if you wish to activate on the dev site, just be sure to deactivate the license on it before moving. If you forget, you can always change the active site on your purchase history page under the Licenses tab by clicking the “Manage Sites” link for the item(s) you wish to change the activate site.

    Hope that answers your questions thoroughly.

    The alternate solution would require setting up a dedicated directory home where all link on all your pages would resolve. This would require a new page and altering all the shortcodes so they point to the new directory home page using the home_id shortcode option. Hope that makes sense.

    It would still be beneficial to know all the shortcodes that you are using because it is possible, seeing your usage, you would not have to alter anything.

    There is no “out of the box” solutions available but what you are asking is possible, but would have to be custom coded. About a year ago I coded a solution for another user bust based on Restrict Content Pro and Gravity Forms. The initial purchase was made thru a Gravity Form which set up the user account and directory entry. The membership was then managed with Restrict Content Pro (renewals and such). When the membership expired the directory entry was set as unlisted (unless the user renewed their membership).

    Hope that answers your question thoroughly!

    Apologies! I just saw this post. This update was release a few weeks back. Here’s a link to the doc page which has a step by step on how to get your Google Maps API Keys.

    Again, my apologies for missing your post!

    I’m sorry, I’m not entirely sure what you wish to accomplish. Can you give more detail?If you are already editing the file, can you not just change the names to whatever you want? Also, fyi, changing the names will break the auto mapping feature in the CSV Import extension.

    Sorry, no, there has been no change in this. I really do not receive requests for this so it has not been a focus.

    Ahhh… dang nabbit! I’ve replicated this and determined it is a bug introduced in 8.5.21 which incorrectly strips out all HTML tags in the bio excerpt. I’ll release another update today which will fix this regression.

    Apologies for the trouble!

    re: shane

    All the premium template include a user searchable category drop down and keyword search. Many have them enabled by default a couple have them disabled by default but can be enabled.

    Hope that answers your question thoroughly.

    @ Nola

    You should use the code from the tutorial instead because it is more recent. I do not think there are any differences, but to better to be certain.

    This, however will not correct the strings as you need. To do this add the following to your existing shortcode:

    default='Select State or Country' select_all='Show All States/Countries'

    That, I think, should fix it. The reason is the code snippet calls the category select directly rather than thru the template which is where the string were customized. Hope that makes sense!

    Hope that helps!
