    Ok, I think I found the bug causing this particular issue. I applied a hot fix and was able to activate Connections without any errors. You do need to set you directory home page. Other than that you should be good to go, but browse around to make sure everything seems in order.

    It is on my list of add-ons to create, but I can not make a promise on when something like this will be released.

    Others are using member plugins such as s2Member or Restrict Content Pro to take payments and restrict the access to the page Form is on until payment is made.

    The bio and note fields do support shortcodes, so maybe a plugin such as Restrict Content will work.
