Honestly, I do not know … I have somewhere between 1600 and 1700 categories in my test database. In theory there is no limit.

You can use the category shortcode option to limit the results to a specific category.

Then that is the issue…

I disabled JavaScript in my browser and the page did not redirect.

I see a single entry on the page.

When I look at the page source, I see this in the notes field of that entry:

What is the exact contents of the notes field?

Switch the notes editor to the text tab.

If you see that code, delete it and save the entry.

If you do not see the code, then another plugin or maybe even the theme is inserting it somehow. Are you using any shortcodes within the notes field?

Please uncheck both shortcode override options. Also make sure the require user to login is unchecked under the General. Also, make sure your entries are set to public.

Finally, it seems you have a plugin or something setup so a user is redirected to the login page when trying to view the teacher directory. Disable that plugin or redirect within the plugin.

Although Connections is capable of doing searches like that, there is nothing available that make it available as a click and play type of feature. Something would have to be custom coded. I’m not available for custom work right now, but I do have a dev that I can recommend who has plenty of experience working with Connections and creating custom template solution. If that is a path you’d like to take, let me know and I’ll ask him to get in touch with you.

You need to use the built in WordPress [embed] shortcode. See this FAQ for more detail.
