Participantoops. I see I double posted…I didn’t notice the pagination!

ParticipantSteven, everything was working great and suddenly the search is no longer working on our directory. It’s now doing the same delivery of the search results back to the same page. We haven’t made any changes to it though.
Any ideas?
See here: http://ccshkt.com/directory/
I’ll reset a user for you if you feel that will help.

ParticipantSteve, everything was working perfectly on the site we have on a live domain. However, without making any changes search on our directory page suddenly is not kicking to the “search-results” page that was defined by the home_id=329.
It’s back to delivering the results in the same page.
What would cause such a change when there have been no edits?

ParticipantSteven, can you let me know where you set the permalink for the form action?
Cole Schweikhardt
ParticipantHa! Greatly appreciated Steven! I made sure to add a review a day or so ago for you. Your support has been terrific.

ParticipantI had the site send to [REDACTED]

ParticipantYou can definitely take a look. Should I email that info to you?

ParticipantHey Steven, we still are having the same issue if we set permalinks to %postname%. The behavior is only correct when permalinks are set to page ID.
What do you think we can do?
We are using the force home method from the Our Attorneys page for search/category sorting. And, we had to restrict it to only Attorneys, thus filtering out the other staff. So, we can’t use it on the Directory at the same time.
If you go to the version it set on a live domain at your previous suggestion, you can see how the Directory is behaving still, when permalinks are set to %postname%.

Let me know your thoughts on this. Right now, it seems we can only implement the search either on Our Attorneys or Directory, but not both, unless we’re set to page ID for premalinks.
In the shortcode on the Directory page we have “home_id=329” but you can see if you do a search from there, it does not pick up that ID in the URL.

Participantwill definitely submit a quality review Steven.
I wanted to swing back here on timing for the 8.4.1 update timing as well.

ParticipantHmmm…still experiencing the same behavior. The results are reverting back to the directory page instead of the page with ID=329.
Here is an example of the shortcode for Partners:
[connections template='slim-plus' phone_format='%label%: %number%'enter code hereemail_format='%address%' str_work_email='Email' str_work_phone='Phone' str_work_fax='Fax' str_work_addr='' str_note_head='Secretary' str_personal_email='' str_work_addr='' str_home_addr='' enable_bio=FALSE show_addresses=FALSE category='8' enable_category_select=FALSE home_id=329]Is there some way to have home_id look for a page slug? We haven't been able to find where the shortcode's code is located.
