    Steven,

Weird. I don’t know what happened. I did do a S2Member update, but reverted back to a backup because of the issues you described. You then ran the S2Member roles snippets fix, but I hadn’t checked them since then. The client would not have touched the roles and I wouldn’t have reset them, so it is a mystery. Yes, will be doing updates soon.

Thanks again! As always you are a rock star!

    Steven,

I logged in as the user and clicked to Edit her entry and got this error message: “ERROR: You are not authorized to edit entries. Contact your admin….” As far as I can see, she only has 1 account. I believe Connections links them via Email Address, right? Thoughts on what could be causing the error?

I was going to try and use the link reset snippet that you used for my user, but I couldn’t find the snippet. Could this possibly fix the issue? If so, please send it to me. Otherwise, let me know what would be the next thing to try.

    Thanks!

    Steven,

I saw that you ran the S2Member snippet code to reset roles. Before you ran it were you able to update the test entry or did it work after you fixed the link issue? I just logged in to my test account and was able update it. I just need to know so I can let the end user know to try again. Let me know your thoughts.

    Thank you!

    Steven,

Thanks for taking time to dig into things. The owner of the site got an email from a member who already had an entry, but when she tried to make updates to it and save them she got the error. I will take a look at the S2Member issue and see if that might be the culprit. However, I know that it had not been updated between last week when she was able to save her changes, and this week when she was not able to save her changes. Not sure what transpired between that period of time.

Was not aware of the link issue. How do you remove the link?

    Matt
