The family list works and it is no problem that users have to click to open.
But, when it is open, you only see the names of the individuals and not the other information like date of birth, email adress, specific categories, etc.A visitor who wants that information has to click a second time on the name of the relation (father, mother, etc.) and then navigate back to the family overview.
We would like to see those details directly after opening the family. It is more user-friendly, but also because we use this page with a special print stylesheet to generate a pdf. It is a page with javascript disabled, so the family is always ‘open’.
See attached picture.

I can confirm that the act of adding an entry causes this change.
However, we did some additional testing and we got the feeling that this UAM plugin is somehow involved. The ‘Intern nieuws’ is a standard WordPress category, but it is behind the login controlled by UAM.
When we deactivate UAM and then activate again, the problem is also solved.
There is one other WordPress category that has a some ID number as one of the Connections categories, but here we see no problems; this WordPress category is not behind the login and is not influenced by UAM.
My conclusion: when a Connections category ID number is the same number as a WordPress category controlled by UAM, then the problem occurs.
We consider to change the WordPress category in order to get a different number.
As UAM causes many problems; do you know a good alternative?

ParticipantCategory 7 is a child of category 1. If I take that out it does not solve the problem.
But I think I understand the problem now:If you show a list of families on a page and you exclude categories to which individuals are assigned, the following will happen: when you open a family it will show all individuals, even those which are excluded, but the link to that individual will not work.
It means that you can not use exclude_category and the enable_category_select=’TRUE’ together in this case. Because it will show individual categories in the selector, while the page contains a list of families.
What I would need is the possibility to exclude individual categories (1,2,4,6) in the selector on a page that lists families with categories 9,10,11,12,13,14,15.

ParticipantHi Steven,
With this in the shortcode the links will not work: exclude_category=”1,2,4,6,7″
These are categories used for individuals only. With this in the shortcode the links work correctly: category=”9,10,11,12,13,14,15″
These are categories used for families only.In both cases the output on the page is exactly the same (see image), only in the first one the links do not work properly.
Do you mean that if I don’t use category 13, the links should work also in the first one?

ParticipantThank you!
We added a .htaccess file with the code below to the connections-images directory.
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
RewriteEngine Off
</IfModule>This seems to work.
