Ah. The first column was Name by default. I used the drag and drop feature (in Settings) to move Organization to the top above Name and now it works.

    Ok. Last one. I promise.

Here is my shortcode for the list view page…

    [connections template='list-view' enable_pagination='false' show_alphaindex='false' order_by='organization|SORT_ASC,first_name|SORT_ASC' enable_search='false' page_limit=0]

For some reason, the order by organization isn’t working. Order by by first name works fine however.

Woohoo! That worked. Everything is back.

So that sort of helped. I made a separate page where I used [connections template='list-view' page_limit=0] to get all my pages to show up.

However, since I’ve disabled list view in the settings (so it won’t show up in my cmap page) all the list view options are gone. Table borders. Alternating rows fills. The Print, and Save buttons etc.

I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.

Here is my regular contact page. The default…
    [connections template='cmap' image='photo' enable_map='false' str_note_show='Keys to Building']

And here is my contact list page…
    [connections template='list-view' enable_pagination='false' show_alphaindex='false' order_by='last_name' enable_search='false' page_limit=0]

That update worked great. Everything is displaying now.

One more question. Is there a way to view ALL entries in list view? Or at least to download or print all? Everything I do only views/prints/saves the current page.

No worries. I can wait. I’ve got plenty of other projects to tackle in the interim.

I like it so far though. Looks very promising.

Sorry. Regarding the headers for the List View. Say What DOES change the headers. But the content does not get pulled in. All that shows up is Name, Department and Home Number (that I’ve changed to Work).

Sorry. I’m confusing myself trying to explain this.

So I guess I was confused. I thought perhaps “View All” would let me view all of my employees on one long page. Or rather view them in list view on one long page. Instead of just a list of names one after the other.

Re: Say What. This works great. Do the original strings from the connections domain match the original strings from the connections_list_view domain?

I’ve used it to edit the strings and change Home Phone to Work Phone, instead of doing that in the short code on the contacts page. But the list view isn’t working like that. I’ve changed the strings so that the headers should be the same. But they are not. And also, for some reason they are not picking up any data except for name, dept and home phone. The other phone numbers are blank.

Ok. It’s sort of working. The Say What plugin isn’t renaming the strings. At least not based on the example you’ve given me. And also, “View All” doesn’t view all. It just goes back to page one of your list.

Edit: The Say What issue is solved. It is “connections_list_view” not “connection_list_view”

I’ll give it a whirl. I think we can work with this.
