ParticipantI think the excerpted text used to read “Continue Reading”. Basically it is the link from the directory listing to the Single card. I was wondering if deactivating and reactivating the plugin would refresh the url pathways?

ParticipantThank you Steven. It does fix it. I thought I deleted the first Amy-Jill listing. So making it “unlisted” is an elegant solution. I was concerned about that exclusion issue, but now that Amy-Jill is unlisted I don’t have to use exclusions. All around, THANK YOU! I love this product and your great support.

ParticipantI tried adding a text module to the page, to no avail.
I have now ‘lost’ the first listing in the Advisor Directory (category 2). He does show up in the Presenter Directory (category 3) http://6e3.b79.myftpupload.com/presenters/ but should be listed in both. I also notice that even though I deleted the listing for Amy-Jill Levine and started over with a new listing for her, the slug reads /name/amy-jill-levine-2/ which may be part of the issue for her showing up in both directories. She shows with the original incomplete listing (no bio) in the Advisor Directory: http://6e3.b79.myftpupload.com/about/advisory-council/advisor-directory/name/amy-jill-levine/
Can I manually clear the database? Or is there some way to force the complete deletion of the original file?

ParticipantHi Steven,
I fixed it by adding a custom CSS ID to the page, creating a #connections-directory ID and adding the css for that ID to my child theme style.css
It worked, and I was able to keep my Events Calendar looking the way it should.
Could not have figured this out without your help, however:)
Thanks!

ParticipantHi Steven,
Still no luck on the h3 a element. I think it has something to do with the link because the rest of the info is the correct color. There is a callout in the Calendar plugin I am using that specifies that element (h3 a) as color: #fff; and that is in my child theme css. Could that be overriding this element as it is not specifically called out in the span?
I am ready to try changing that callout on the Child theme style.css and see if it makes a difference. However, that will change the h3 a link color in the Events Calendar. It uses the same span.fn
Do you have any suggestion for overriding that specific element in the excerpt-plus-custom.css?
Thanks so much for your input here. It IS giving me ideas to explore.

ParticipantBecause we are using aMemberPro through a plugin they developed, we are really at their mercy. When WordPress updated to version 4.1 aMemberPro stopped working entirely and we had to wait for them to update the plugin. You are right that it’s probably another plugin causing the problem, because when I first activate Form (latest version) it works fine. Within hours or minutes we suddenly have trouble updating pages (they just don’t update changes) and those problems stop when we disable Form. The most expedient fix is the one you have provided, reverting to the old version. In the next couple of month, after the current membership drive, I am upgrading the entire site to the latest supported version of the theme, which will require some time and careful documentation since the new theme is developed for new WordPress and has been extensively rewritten. (WeaverPro moving to Weaver Extreme Plus) Once the upgrade/migration is completed I will retry the newest version of Form and see if it works. Of course I’ll let you know either way.
I really want to thank you for the excellent support you offer on Connections and all of the add-on products. Response time is quick and you follow through to make sure the user experience is a good one.
Sincerely,
