cMap has received a couple bug fixes, tweaks and one new feature.
The following shortcode options have been added:
- address_types
- phone_types
- email_types
Now you can tell the template which data types to display.
The valid options for each are as follows:
- address_types = home, work, school, other
- phone_types = homephone, homefax, workphone, workfax, cellphone
- email_types = personal, work
You can also assign multiple types, simply separate by them using a comma.

FEATURE: Add the shortcode options; address_types, phone_types, email_types.
BUG: Fix the enable_website_link shortcode attribute.
OTHER: Change CSS positioning if the search icon.
OTHER: Add 6px left margin to the image in the bio tray.

BUG: Fix the CSS for the alphaindex positioning when using the show_alphaindex=’true’ show_alphahead=’true’ shortcode attributes.
Hello!
Is there a way to show Bio by default? Thanks.
@carlos
Sorry, no.
I agree, this would be a great option to allow the bio to show by default. Any consideration in doing so?
Thanks
great idea!
How do I change the length of cMap?
@Jose
Do you mean the width? If, yes, like this:
Is there a way to hide the logo on the listings?
@Rex
Assuming you have cMap 2.0.x since you posting this under a update notice… You can hide the logo by using a cMap enable shortcode option. Here’s an example:
Take a look at the Customization Options tab on the cMap product page. There are over 60 shortcode options that cMap enables.
Is there a way to have Featured Listings sit at the top of a category, with some kind of way to indicate they are featured listings?
@Keiko
Sorry, not without customization.
Can you center the information on each entry card instead of being right aligned?
@Keiko
You can use CSS to center the text.
Been going out of my mind trying to get a Connections list working the way it did before the last update.
I had a list of bookmarks by State that would go to the first listing of a connection by that state (the list of connections was sorted by state). Like this:
AK AL AR AZ CA CO etc.
To add the bookmark to each connection listing I used the following code in the template file:
<a name="state ?>”>
After the update, the code returned no value.
I bought the cmap template hoping that I could at least use the shortcodes to create a bookmark header for States.
Doesn’t look like this can be done, either.
How can I get this to work again?
Is there a possibility to just output the search field in a page per shortcode.
I tried this:
[connections enable_search=TRUE page_limit=0]
but failed:
Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/www.domain.de/wp-content/connections_templates/cmap/functions.php on line 438
Great plugins….but is there any way to limit how many addressess show on each page rather than having a huge list? look forward to your response…
ps the form is excellent :)
@jason
Yes, several of the premium templates enable pagination which defaults at 20 per page and is user definable. Check out cMap, Market and Tile Plus.

@ Leonid
Sorry, I do not understand… could you please post a more detailed explanation in the cMap support forum?
