That makes sense since there was an update to the theme itself not that long ago, and yes I just updated Tile Plus last month so if it was due to a theme update or plugin update changing what ever was keeping that max-width style from overriding the map then it makes sense that it would have happened now.

That is very interesting, although I don’t get why the theme styles would now conflict with the map loading in Connections.

All I can say in regards to the possible conflict with Google results is that the map was working, but since I updated Connections it does not work.

The website’s theme does add a shadow to text, so that is why you see that on the map. If the shadow causes the text to be hard to read I then remove it for that particular text on the stylesheet, but it wasn’t too bothersome on the map so I left it. But I can’t see how this would cause an issue because the map was working with no problem.

I did upgrade Tile Plus recently.

I apologize for the late response to your reply. I had some other projects come up so I wasn’t able to get back to this until now. I was missing the show_family=”true”, which was why the relations of a family weren’t showing up. Even though this is a late response I at least wanted to let you know its fixed now, and to thank you for your help.

Okay, I did do what you do with the names, entering them backwards, that will work.

What I mean about relations not showing up when I only display Family instead of displaying both Family and Individuals is that before I made this change and was displaying both Family and Individuals on the visible directory, under the Family name it listed the relations so someone could click on that name and go to their individual listing. But I’m assuming that choosing to display only Family in the visible listing is also removing the ability to display the relations under the family name. I want to be able to display the relations, and visitors to be able to click on those names to display their individual information.

I’m going to show you some screen shots of what I mean.

I have also discovered that if I only display Family the relations no longer show up under the Families that have relations. After going through the shortcode options I can’t find anything to correct this.

I’m giving your suggestion a try, the only issue I’m coming across is that the person is no longer listed by their last name. If I had John Smith, with an individual you would find John Smith under “S” for Smith, with family John Smith is now found under “J” for John. Any ideas on how to fix this?
