ParticipantHi Steven, I am using:
“Default Entry Card 3.0 by Steven A. Zahm”
and I can see no option to include images in the customizer.
Am I missing something?
Cheers,

ParticipantAh, yes, that worked. Thanks Steven. Our new subscribers are visible now. :)
But how do I do that for the categories? See the image I sent before. They are all also seemingly awaiting approval, but I cannot see the same options in the Manage Categories page. :(03/11/2017 at 6:39 am in reply to: Entries not showing on front end to users, only to administrators #415213Marjoline van der Jagt

ParticipantHi Steven,
Well that truly well over and above the call of duty. Attached please find the biggest bunch of flowers I could find!
Most of your competitors would have simply said: “that’s probably caused by another plugin, not my problem…” You really went the extra mile -and-a-half…
I cannot thank you enough. Tomorrow I will check it out, here is it almost 11:30 pm now.
And I will not stop to sing your praises to all who work with WordPress in my environment!Well done! And thank you so much!
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Steven,
Oh dear. :( All the users are already added to the sub-site in question. See attachment. I am not sure what you recommend I do here?
Like I said, it works in any sub-site, just not in the main base site. And I have this most important national site (under construction) as main base site, due to bad experiences with an earlier restore. The only thing that was restored at that time, was the actual main site. So you can imagine that I do not really want to do away with the base site only because connections won’t show entries to anyone but administrators here.
And the entries are confidential, for team members only. So the minor tweak won’t help us here unfortunately. We don’t want it visible to the public.
Cheers,

ParticipantIn addition again…
Homing in on the problem.- I disabled “Members” and the Connections entries became visible to all.
- I selected a simpler plugin: “Registered Users Only” and tested this on a direct new copy test site, and logged in as Editor, the Connections entries were also perfectly visible
- I activated “Registered Users Only” in the original site, and to my dismay Connections entries were once again NOT visible to editors… :(
The only difference between the two compared sites? One is the base site in a WordPress Multisite setup. The other is an exact copy of that site, in the same multisite environment, just not the base site.
Which begs the question: is it a multisite issue?
Curiously yours,

ParticipantIn addition….
Strangely enough, in a copy test site:
https://nl-teams.diem25.nl/demo/whos-who/
even not logged-in viewers can see the entries…
We are using the plugin “Members” to block all but team members from gaining entrance to the site. Is there a problem with this plugin together with Connections?
And if so, what can we do about it?
Regards,
Marjoline -
