    Hi Steven,

    thank you for your answer.
    I already had the database-query and it did not work, so I thought of some different function. Did not work as well.
    At the end of the day I had a wrong variable earlier … :o/

    Now everything is fine. Thanx again for your time!

    Oops, I tested with fixed numbers instead dynamic IDs …

    How do I get the address-id if I have the entry-id?
    Is there a function too?

    Hi Steven,

    this actually helped a lot!!
    I did not know I could use the connections-functions in a cronjob as well.

    Sorry for the late response, but my computer broke down.

    Hi Stephen,
    thank you for you reply.
    Since I am not that familiar with arrays your answer does not help as I hoped it will.
    I know my example code is not working. I just wanted to visualize what I would like to do.
    I was hoping you could provide me the exact code line to
    1. update the value of the “district” with a new value
    2. the sql-term to update the addresses array in the database

    Ok, the categories are there – thanx a lot!!
    It just took 24 hours since my first try. :)

    I am certain to have used your file. I downloaded and renamed it 3 times just to be sure. But nothing happened.

    But maybe there is a hint for the next user with a similar problem. After I read of your success in my system I tried the plain TXT-file and got the mapping options!?!
    So I went to the 2nd wordpress and tried one of my own files – renaming it to TXT – and it worked!
    The mapping option appeared and the upload worked fine.

    Please do not tell me, this is the usual way! :)
    Anyway, thank you very much for the support – topic resolved.

    I tried a different provider/server and a different wordpress with a fresh connections and your corrected copy. Nothing happens.

    Unfortunately not.
    It is the same experience with your file. Nothing happens.

    There is no error message – nothing.
    I changed php-versions, I changed chmods – nothing.

    This is really frustrating.
    I just hope, it will not happen with my data and the import-plugin later.
