    Dear Steven,

Yes, you really answered all my questions thorowly. But there is still one Question left:

You told me, which tables to export and named them. Well, in the old cMap Version there are only four:
    Connectons
    Connections_terms
    connections_term_relationship
    connections_term_taxonomy

Maybe that’s why not all addresses migrate.

I just wonder why the addresses show in the front end, not in the back.

The offer of 50 $ is worth considering. Would you that, even with the facts told now?

    Thank you ever so much!

    I forgot:

All Templates you offer, contain far too many possibilities for me.

    I only need:
Name and address field (only one Address, no Departement)
A text field for their profession
A text field for what they specialize in
    Telephone
    Email
    Internet
    And a Photo

Nothing else -no anniversary, no birthday etc.

Something just like a business card…

    Dear Steven,

I deleted the Readme.txt – and both error messages vanished. My “old” version of cMap is 1.0.

I copied the folder to the wp_content folder. It contains cMap, Market and Tile-plus. Market and Tile-plus are shown, when I look at “all” templates. cMap is missing. I can activate cMap under the button “Person”.

When I activated the latest connection-version I also downloaded the new cMap because I thought I had to (new progrmam – new template…) That’s why I used the new cMap-Version.

After trying several times, cMap is now showing and I could activate it. I haven’t a clue why…

Anyway, the looks of old and new are quite different:
    http://www.gervas.org/akupunktur-tierarzte-in-meiner-nahe/

That’s how it used to look

    That is the up-to-date-Version: http://tierakupunktur.gervas.org/wordpress/akupunktur-tierarzte-in-meiner-nahe/

When I look at the entries in the front end, they contain the names and the addresses, phone-numbers etc. When I go to the backend to alter the dates, there are no addresses, no phone-numbers, only the names. The fields are empty.

And last (but not least…) I do not get all entries shown. It stops after 30 entries or so. When I press the button “view all” it shows me a list of ALL entries. I can’t click on one because then there is no result…

I think I have to start all over and include the necessary dates (136 files) by hand.

Can you please tell me, which files I have to change to change the looks in front? Is there a full documentation somewhere? I know there is the css-file.
    Found only one…

In Germany we show the addresses differently to the US-Adresses. It’s always have to have the zip-code first, then the City.

I am really a bit frustrated. I’ve been sitting here for hours now and can’t solve the problems. I just don’t have enough knowledge of php and maybe even css…

Please help or advise me to another template to match my needs: Would like to have the category pulldown or any other way of sorting all entrys by Zipcode (so customers can find a person near their home). Would also like to add a photo.

Thank you very much for your time and always quick answers!

I exported the connection-files of the old database, deleted all connection-files in the new database and imported.

then I uploaded the old connections plugin into the right place in WP.

That is the error I get:

Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /var/www/vhosts/gervas.org/httpdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/connections/includes/class.terms.php on line 290

I haven’t a clue of php… Maybe you know, what to fix or alter…

    Thank you for your time!

I just used the php myadmin to export as sql.

and imported the same way. The fatal error occured after changing the provider, who as an upgraded version of php.

the tables the new connections uses are different from the old one. I altered one to at least import the data. that worked.

in the database I can see: all entries are there.

does your “old” version work with latest php version? Then I might try again and import just the connection data.

    thanks for your help

    Thank you for your answer.

Since I am not at all fit in php I dare not to take out the dropdowns for telephone etc. It doesn’t matter that much.

    One last question:

Is it possible (I am sure it is), to show the content of the top line “Departement” in the output-file with the word “Department” in front? (it will be renamed…)

I have tried to fiddle with the class_output.php, but could not fix it.

Can you perhaps tell me the line I’ll have to put in?

Thank you so much for your excellent work. This plugin is really fun, and I don’t see many that are so well explained!

Thank you again for your time

    Karin from Germany
