The problem with the category is solved. I see, that I do not have to exclude any but include the ones I want to have. It worked fine!

Thank you again for your help. I now got it, that I have to use the shortcodes to change the appearance to my liking. Only yesterday “found” the shortcodes on this forum. Thought, I did exact the same thing with the addr. shortcode, but then the page would not show any address at all. So it was obviously not quite the same…

One last question: How do I exclude one or two categories? (Just in case I can’t find it in the shortcodes…)

Is there a limit for shortcodes used? It is a smart way of configuring the front page!

Dear Steven,

that was perfekt, and you chose the right site.

Now I would like to make minor changes in the look. Still have to swap the appearance of City and zip-code. Which is the right file to make changes? Maybe change the color or change the typo?

Would also like to translate the words “select category” in the dropdown menue.

I can upload logos and pictures. How do I activate the picture?

and one last thing: when all entries are shown in the dashboard I see the alphabeth on top. Not all letters are shown. It stopps with the letter V.

And what I would like to know most: what have you done, to bring everything back to life, that I could not? Could I have fixed it myself? But that is just for interest!

You did not get the facts right: The old site does not exist anymore. I still have access to the old database. But the site was moved to another provider.

I have downloaded everything via ftp, saved all date from the old database.

You can’t update cMap on the old place… :-(

The version shown was 1.0

I don’t have ftp-control over the old place anymore. Can only access mysql database and the backup-server.

Are you still able to help? Payment is no problem…
