Perfect! Thanks for being so fast with your reply. Your support of this plugin is top of the line.

    Alright. Getting closer.

    http://sucap.dmlwsdev.com/directory/

On the Directory page… As an administrator, I see a link to add a new entry (this uses the front end form), a list of the existing entries, but I don’t see a link to edit existing entries.

When I’m not logged in at all, the Directory page shows the list of entries, but it doesn’t have any links for editing.

When I log in as an Employee (custom role), the Directory page only shows the drop down for categories and ‘No results’. The Employee role has capabilities for:
    1. connections_edit_entry
    2. connections_edit_entry_moderated

Just to clarify what my goal is…
I want an employee to be able to log in to access Human Resources information. Upon logging in, I will redirect them to an protected ‘Employee’ page that can only be accessed by someone that is logged in. On this page, I will have downloads for various HR forms, and I’m hoping to include the ability for them to view/edit their Connections entry. Do you think this is something I am going to be able to do?

    Connections = 8.2.10
    Connections Form = 1.0.2
    Connections Link = 1.0.2

When we get this figured out, what page will the form show up on?

Thanks for all of your help.

I don’t see either of those options listed on the Display tab.

Under Entry Actions I only see ‘Back to Directory’ and ‘Add to Address Book. Under Result List Actions I only see ‘View All’.

I guess I’m also still confused on how this is going to make the form show up on my custom page template.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yes. I do have Link enabled. I have added the Form extension to the site. Now what? I don’t see any settings or code to add the form to my custom page template.

    Hi Steven,

That works great! Thanks for your quick response. Just one more thing…

The single entry-title now shows the person’s name followed by ‘person’ (the name of the page you had me make). I can’t find where I can adjust that in the card-single.php template.

Thanks and best wishes to you in the new year.

Perfect. Thanks. Sorry I missed that one on the FAQ.

My file structure doesn’t seem to match this.
    …wp-content/plugins/tile-plus

    There isn’t a connections_templates directory. There also isn’t a template.php file.

The only available file is tile-plus.php. The only width adjustments I see in there are for card_width and image_width. I have adjusted the card width by shortcode and now would like to adjust the column width for email addresses.

    Thanks,
    Doug

That helps a ton. I made more users and they worked correctly when doing them in the order you suggested.

I am going to be adding Justin Tadlock’s Members plugin so I can fine tune some user rights. Does that plugin conflict?

    Thanks again.
