ok… i am pretty sure i’ve done everything as per instructions

still no luck

have cleared cache, have installed snippet plugin, activated, reset roles…

still no joy

added that code snippet to my functions.php – is that sufficient or do i actually have to use that plugin?

deactivated ALL plugins except connections, connections link, connections cmap and s2member… and that didn’t help either

any other thoughts?

so further to this… i see in the card-single.php there is a “cropmode” with options…

how do we implement those options? with the wide variation in image sizes, i’d prefer the “fit” option i think… and the default seems to be “fill”…

i’ve tried all the shortcode options i can think of and don’t see it on the shortcode listings in the template documentation…

I have to apologize… i obviously did not look EVERYWHERE…

I found the 300 width setting in the SHORTCODE!!! omg… blind as a bat i am.

that fixed my biggest problem.

I saw your recommendation to add the css to the themes custom css… which, oddly, didn’t work in my child theme css, but in my jetpack “custom css” module it worked just fine… weird, but it worked.

i copied my data into the sample file… that seems to work ok… whoops… no it didnt! 60 rows gave me 764 new entries!!

so… yep, would still like to know what the mime type issue is.
if it’s an excel glitch, that’d be helpful to know. i tried both excel csv & ms-dos versions…

for reference, should anyone else do the same stupid thing i did…

if you’re using s2member… in your general options, make sure under “Member Profile Modifications” settings, to set “Redirect members away from wordpress admin” to NO…

would be awesome if there was a way to do this via WordPress SEO by Yoast… i can set the title & description on all the other custom post types we’re using, but Connections do not appear.

THAT was the PERFECT solution, i think! looks great so far anyway. THANK YOU! it removed the “no logo/image” placeholder too, which makes me very happy :) so now, they have nothing if they entered no image nor website, and the others work great.

Any idea how often the screenshots get updated? and if there’s a way to force them to update?
