I took out and put back in the shortcode and re-saved the page with the shortcode and when I did that the issue I referenced went away.

I’ll monitor as I keep working on the site, and see if the issue re-occurs, but maybe some quirk happened in the upgrade that just putting the shortcode in again and saving it resolved things — fingers crossed.

As an added note — I put a second test entry onto the ‘sandbox’ site and the weird linkage back to the Connections site first showed up like the other entry– then as I was futzing about, I checked again and on one of the entries the Connections linkage had disappeared —but on the other entry, which looks like it was entered exactly the same way, the unwanted Connections linkage is still there.

I can’t tell that either of the entries was input any different.

Humm, I was hoping for a solution that would allow a business to add an entry to the business directory (for approval) and would allow for them to make a payment via Paypal for the entry.

re the license key — I think what you are saying is I must have bought the CMap license so long ago it did not fall into the “license regime of today” where the license key is auto generated at time of purchase — that said, I see no reason to have you manually generate a license key that I must renew annually —
I’ll just try and remember that for Cmap I should manually check on it and any upgrades from time to time and handle them manually as I have been thus far.
