I am just thrilled that it works–and beautifully! And believe me, it’s a simple enough solution. I can EASILY handle that. :) And the detail page is so much more than I ever dreamed it would be. Wow! You’ve got me excited about my site again.

Have a great day and THANKS AGAIN!

Hey Steve!!! I found it! It was the setting for the Home page. It got reset at some point in the past. And as for the directory and categories, I just created a full directory page that doesn’t necessarily need to be linked anywhere and it now works BEAUTIFULLY!!!

By the way, I see that the plugin is now responsive! I’ve added that info to my review on WordPress! You constantly impress me with your updates and the beauty of the work as well as your support.

    Thanks again,

    Denise

    Hi again,

I think I see the problem. The directory page needed to be set. That could be a problem since when you look at the site, there are directories on different pages. Is there any way I am going to be able to make this work as the site is set up? You can see I have the different categories set up on different pages.

    Steve,

Can I reply to the email to send you my password to access my site? It is still very much in development, and I don’t want it in public yet.

    Thanks.

    Hi again,

Since this is on my localhost, you won’t be able to view it unless I upload it to my server. Based on what you just said, I thought it might be just missing the folder after “localhost” and typed it in, but no, it is still giving me a 404 error. Let me set it up on my server and password protect it and send that to you so you can view it. I’ll get back to you.

    Thanks,

    Denise

    Hi again,

That’s what’s in there, and it leaves the “name” in the URL when clicking on the link which does not point to anything. (i.e. ..name/pink-jeep-tours-inc/)

    Hi again,

Sorry, me again. I’ve installed the plugin following the directions and everything appears to be in there correctly. However, it appears I need to fill in the name field with something to have it go to the correct page since it still goes to a 404 page. Do I need to put something in the “name” field to make it work since it keeps the “name” in the URL? Putting my localhost URL in there does not work either.

    Thanks,

    Denise

    Hi Steve!

Aha! That’s what I would have thought. And I thought I was keeping things up to date and didn’t realize that updates to the templates didn’t show up in the plugins–my mistake. Thanks, I’ll get that done right away. Yay!! Very exciting that it will be so easy.

Once again, you are my hero. :)

    Take care,

    Denise

    Hi Steven,

I’m sorry to bother you again. Is the plugin, SiteShot, available? I tried your shortcode, and it isn’t anything different from the normal codes. I looked on your site for a new pro module and couldn’t find anything for purchase or download. I noticed there was an update to Connections and looked in the plugin after the update but didn’t see anything there. Am I missing something (would not be surprised) or is this still be developed? I LOVE what you have done. It is the perfect solution!

    Thanks again,

    Denise
