Now that the latest release of Connections is out the door, and doing quite well I may add, I can shift my focus to working on the next update to Form. What can you expect? The frequently requested email notifications. With the next version you’ll have the option to set up two email notifications. The first is an auto responder which is sent back to the user submitting the new entry thanking them for their submission. The second is an email to the site admin, which is configurable, letting them know they have a new entry in the moderation queue. Well, that is about it. The screen shots can tell the rest of the story…
I almost forgot… Here’s a bonus new feature. You can now set Form to only display when a user is logged in. The message that is displayed to users that are not logged in can also be configured. Here, take a look.
Looking forward to the update! Your dedication to the plugin is truly admirable! Hopefully Link is next on the list of things to do.
Many thanks! Truly appreciated! Yes, Link is next and I just started the foundation.
Very nice Steven. If you need a beta tester, please let me know.
We have Connections Pro and Forms on the site I’m working on. Is Form-Email independent of Form? Or is Form being updated to include email notification?
Regardless… I’d happily volunteer to beta test as well!
Thanks!
@Ken
Form is being updated to include email notification support. I’ll very likely contact those that are volunteering to text when I’m ready. There are only two prerequisites, Connections 0.7.3.1 must be installed and you must have purchased Form.
I have another function request for the form module. Will you please add to you list of options or upgrades the ability to merge selected data with programs like MailChimp and ConstantContact?
Thanks for all you do!

Good idea, I will add it to the feature request list.
Steven, when can we expect to see the new email notifier feature? Do you have an ETA?

@Gary
This was release on Thanksgiving … here’s the link to the update notice:

Thanks Steven, I deleted the old file and updated. Went well. May I ask when and if you will allow my user(s) to now, log-in and edit their own profile info they’ve entered? Currently, the only way my member can edit the info is if I do that for him/her. Simply allowing them to retrieve the info directly into the input form would be WONDERFUL!!!

Keep up the good work!
@gary927
I am currently working on another add-on named “Link” that will bring this functionality. I hope to have the first version out by new years.
