Can you attach a screenshot showing the admin page and editing an entry? You can attach images when you login to the support forum.
RE: I notice I have an issue on both individual submission page and in the directory list (expandable map), that the google map does not show.
Have you setup you Google Maps API key?
I seen themes that apply styles to images globally that mess up the display of the map tiles. Usually it is along the line of setting the image size to max width. So it could be this. If you can share a link to a page with the trouble, I can take a look.
